Seriously? Do you really think that someone on a budget, that just bought an $600 computer should spend more than double the price on a monitor? The same price on peripherals? Those who can spend all this money are not buying mac minis, at least, not as their primary machines.
I have the m2 mini with 512 gb ssd due to the read/ write speeds are 3k+ vs the 256gb is around 1500 apple uses cheaper slower ssd on base With the chip set shares ssd for some operations ram swap the main hd speed is important. Get the education discount save $100 anyone in school kids etc really easy to get at Apple Store I use my m2 mini to run my music production and video editing it’s fantastic. Don’t get drawn into all the upgrades as far as displays Here’s a sleeper. Tcl 6 series 655 or 646 google version fantastic mini led or hisence u8h. I got my tcl 6 series 646 for $430 open box added the 3 yr warranty. Fantastic image almost oled hope this helps

Does the dock power the max mini? Or do you still use the power cord with the Mac mini?
This is the first video of yours that I have seen. It's great! Exactly what I was looking for. You offer multiple recommendations, quick and concise honest reviews, and your personality is evident. Too many video's out there that are too boring to watch all the way through. Not yours! I subscribed and can't wait to watch more of your videos! I already have a monitor and an old Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard, but I did decide to buy the Mac mini M2, the new Magic Keyboard (with the fingerprint) and the 1st external hard drive you mentioned. I never even thought about an external drive, but will try to find it. I clicked on the link and I'm not sure if it works....

Great video, you didn't talk about the monitor arm holding up the LG monitors. If I get the M2 mac mini pro @ $1300 and the Caldigit Dock @ $300 shouldn't I just get the mac studio?
No because if your workflow does not require that much power why spend the extra money. I didn’t mention the monitor arms because the ones I have are a bit pricey for monitor arms but will be revealed in my studio tour video instead.
Will the LG C1 or LG C2 suffice for both as a monitor and audio? I don’t want to buy speakers right now. I will be using my M2 Pro for Logic only but for now want a quick way to get an audio stream. I don’t know how well BT speakers will work with Logic audio tracks and virtual instruments tracks audio streaming though BT speakers versus hard wired speakers versus the LG C1/C2. By the way the link to the speakers is no longer available.
If you’re doing any kind of music production in Logic I recommend some type of external speakers to hear playback. But then again if you have a good pair of headphones your good.

No I use the C2 as my TV in my office. I use the LG 34 in monitors as my computer monitor.

for the same price its better to wait for asus oled 240hz or go for samsung odyssey neo G9 its 5K mini led 👌🏽
