I went to 7 doctors telling them i suffer from body tremors that sometimes pressure my head and ruin my thought.
every single one of the 7 doctors gave me anti-psychotics (tried all of them at different doses: olanzapine, risperidone, Invega,...) and god, anti-psychotics are 10 times worse than my original status:
-It begins with disconnection from your surroundings. like when there's a someone or a car behind me, i feel numb and unresponsive towards it.
-Makes your brain freeze from thoughts. makes you lose your memory. i couldn't remember anything and i couldn't think of anything (even can't think of a song)
-No desire to eat or drink. my stomach felt locked. i couldn't put a spoon in my mouth. but forcing myself to drink wasn't as much of a problem.
-No desire for anything: for tv, for playing, for studying, for talking, ..
-The worst part: very severe depression, it made me sad, cry all day all night, my chest was killing me and lastly, the depression was so severe that i was about to end it all. I was trying to jump from balcony. but held myself.
my mom was with me and she decided to stop them. I've been trying to cope for 7 years but i still EFFING HATE WHEN PEOPLE LOOK AT ME WHEN I'M TWITCHING

I've been on many medications throughout my life. Olanzapine has been the worst in terms of side effects and withdrawal. And I was even given it because a psychiatrist thought I had tourettes. Which I never had, I only get periodic ticks that can happen when I can't cope with things in my head. It's not something I have all day, everyday. Well Many years ago when I was in a real bad place, I had constant ticks, but that was just because my head was so fucked up. I could understand if back then they tried giving me medication for tourettes. But not when I didn't show any sign of it. My life might be ruined. I hate that psychiatrist who gave me this shit. And myself for taking it for 3 years. It fucking sucks!

I was just prescribed Resperidal for anxiety. I think I already have tardive dyskinesia from my Zoloft. My tongue never stops thrusting, but the psychiatrist said I don’t have it. She pushed Resperidal on me today so I agreed to try it, and don’t like it already. And searching the side effects, I’m really turned off. I also take 2 mg Klonopin.

Hi Amy. The prescription sounds unusual. Resperidol is used for treating bipolar mania and schizophrenia. Never heard of it being used for anxiety. Antipsychotics are powerful drugs.
You may look into signing up for a course in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to help
with your anxiety. It helped me.
There are some antidepressants that are
used for anxiety as well. I take Escitalopram for my anxiety/depression. Also I have been diagnosed with Bipolar 2 and later Bipolar 1. My mania is mild and I have managed to live without antipsychotics. I want to keep my head clear. Side effects for antipsychotics can be pretty awful.
Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself.
There is a good instructional book on Cognitive Behavior Therapy called; "Mind Over Mood", if you want to try C.B.T. on your own. I hope things go well for you. Take care.

Good information, but he makes it appear that the FDA is doing their job and looking out for us when in reality they allowed this drug and many others to be marketed even with the flawed and biased science, and knowing that these drugs cause many harmful side effects for some. Maybe I'm wrong about that.? If I didn't already know about the dangers of these drugs (from my own experience), and I watched this video, I would assume that the FDA didn't allow this drug on the market. Oh god, atypicals suck hardcore for the most part. They make me hallucinate all sorts of things. Risperdal caused me to have tremors and doesn't help me at all. Zyprexa was wonderful at first, and it made me almost normal, but I gained about fifty pounds and caused me to become diabetic. It was going to kill me. I wish they'd study Zypexa a little more and make it better. That's the only atypical that's ever worked. BTW, abilify HURTS people with dementia and should not ever be used.. They are already agitated and wander. Abilify makes this worse. The only med I've ever seen work on a patient with dementia is Seroquel because it makes them relax and helps them sleep. Otherwise, they do become exhausted from moving so much, and Seroquel sedates them during the day to the point they are comfortable. The only problem caretakers will face with Seroquel is that patients will have to wear a diaper.

mostly Psychiatrists are not completely normal people in Korean Culture.
They insist on their medications which are harmful.
Most studies show that more than mostly of patients are chemically castrated by these drugs.
Victims must be compensated and psychiatrists brought to justice.

Had Zyprexa not raised my blood sugar so high and kept it that way even with treatment, there's a good chance I would have been able to work a simple job. It caused massive weight gain, and I became diabetic. It messed with other chemicals in my body. I think Zyprexa has potential but needs more research done to it. Perphenazine has hardly any side effects for me, so that's what I take. It keeps me here, but like I said, Zyprexa was the best for my schizophrenia. Maybe they can prescribe preventative medications to go with it.

Because we give them to the god-believers (psychotics, uncapitalized), it helps them choose science instead of religion.
I'm one success story. I used to believe in God, but now I question a god who allows innocent creatures to be treated like cattle and have the very thing that makes them human removed. That used to be the case. Now I recognize that strength is all that is left once you remove somebody's weak humanity.
Olanzapine is now my sacrament. I'm far more religious than I was before because I take my sacrament daily with Olanzapine, Prozac, and Mountain Dew instead of bread and water, but now it's the true religion... Statism.
Heil the state. When I wake up in the morning, my hand is over my heart in salute of our Country. America has done so much more than any false god or prophet, the wimpering degenerate on Calvary crucified on the cross by his own stupidity, Jesus Christ, the egoless and spineless sap they call Buddha, the faceless depictionless pedophile Mohammed, the fraud and swindler who embezzled money Joseph Smith, ever will, and I pledge my undying support to the State and conformity.
Know that I am yours to use however you see fit, and if you're the real voice of a human being telling me to drop bombs on innocent children for the good of America and not a false voice in my head telling me to just be a kind person, so be it. Real authority should never be questioned. False Authority should never be unquestioned. The authority is given to man to govern man, even down to their thoughts. Always obeyed, never questioned. Any risky question I have about my country, its worldview, or its influence, is now gone.
I serve America, the land of blood and oil, with an iron rod in my hand. America is the one that cured me of my frailty and my weakness. I salute our moral country with more loyalty than any SS soldier ever could to their evil Fuhrer. Screw Hitler. Heil the USA!
