I went to 7 doctors telling them i suffer from body tremors that sometimes pressure my head and ruin my thought. every single one of the 7 doctors gave me anti-psychotics (tried all of them at different doses: olanzapine, risperidone, Invega,...) and god, anti-psychotics are 10 times worse than my original status: -It begins with disconnection from your surroundings. like when there's a someone or a car behind me, i feel numb and unresponsive towards it. -Makes your brain freeze from thoughts. makes you lose your memory. i couldn't remember anything and i couldn't think of anything (even can't think of a song) -No desire to eat or drink. my stomach felt locked. i couldn't put a spoon in my mouth. but forcing myself to drink wasn't as much of a problem. -No desire for anything: for tv, for playing, for studying, for talking, .. -The worst part: very severe depression, it made me sad, cry all day all night, my chest was killing me and lastly, the depression was so severe that i was about to end it all. I was trying to jump from balcony. but held myself. my mom was with me and she decided to stop them. I've been trying to cope for 7 years but i still EFFING HATE WHEN PEOPLE LOOK AT ME WHEN I'M TWITCHING
I understand what it feels like with not only Zyprexa but all of them which names ssri snri benzodiazepines and many such poisons makes us feel inside. They all sucks. Someone stop this disaster plz . 🙏

Also my mom, she just got risperidone for 4 months and already got Parkinsonism, huge fear crisis even after withdrawal, memory and concentration became under zero, her diabetes deteriorated too much, insomnia, constipation, tachicardia.. etc... we suffer and she does since she got that poison called medication

I've been on many medications throughout my life. Olanzapine has been the worst in terms of side effects and withdrawal. And I was even given it because a psychiatrist thought I had tourettes. Which I never had, I only get periodic ticks that can happen when I can't cope with things in my head. It's not something I have all day, everyday. Well Many years ago when I was in a real bad place, I had constant ticks, but that was just because my head was so fucked up. I could understand if back then they tried giving me medication for tourettes. But not when I didn't show any sign of it. My life might be ruined. I hate that psychiatrist who gave me this shit. And myself for taking it for 3 years. It fucking sucks!
I was just prescribed Resperidal for anxiety. I think I already have tardive dyskinesia from my Zoloft. My tongue never stops thrusting, but the psychiatrist said I don’t have it. She pushed Resperidal on me today so I agreed to try it, and don’t like it already. And searching the side effects, I’m really turned off. I also take 2 mg Klonopin.
Hi Amy. The prescription sounds unusual. Resperidol is used for treating bipolar mania and schizophrenia. Never heard of it being used for anxiety. Antipsychotics are powerful drugs. You may look into signing up for a course in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to help with your anxiety. It helped me. There are some antidepressants that are used for anxiety as well. I take Escitalopram for my anxiety/depression. Also I have been diagnosed with Bipolar 2 and later Bipolar 1. My mania is mild and I have managed to live without antipsychotics. I want to keep my head clear. Side effects for antipsychotics can be pretty awful. Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself. There is a good instructional book on Cognitive Behavior Therapy called; "Mind Over Mood", if you want to try C.B.T. on your own. I hope things go well for you. Take care.

@@amyb2646 Good for you Amy. Benzos are hard to taper off. I take .5 to 1mg of Atavin almost every day. Still a work in progress. Peer support groups can also be helpful I used to go to some that were run by the Mood Disorder Association of Ontario before the Pandemic. I found that talking to others that had the same problems to be very helpful. I learned a few things by talking to peers. The other thing that helped me was taking the Wellness Recovery Action Plan, ( W.R.A.P.) Hope these suggestions are useful Cheers

Good information, but he makes it appear that the FDA is doing their job and looking out for us when in reality they allowed this drug and many others to be marketed even with the flawed and biased science, and knowing that these drugs cause many harmful side effects for some. Maybe I'm wrong about that.? If I didn't already know about the dangers of these drugs (from my own experience), and I watched this video, I would assume that the FDA didn't allow this drug on the market. Oh god, atypicals suck hardcore for the most part. They make me hallucinate all sorts of things. Risperdal caused me to have tremors and doesn't help me at all. Zyprexa was wonderful at first, and it made me almost normal, but I gained about fifty pounds and caused me to become diabetic. It was going to kill me. I wish they'd study Zypexa a little more and make it better. That's the only atypical that's ever worked. BTW, abilify HURTS people with dementia and should not ever be used.. They are already agitated and wander. Abilify makes this worse. The only med I've ever seen work on a patient with dementia is Seroquel because it makes them relax and helps them sleep. Otherwise, they do become exhausted from moving so much, and Seroquel sedates them during the day to the point they are comfortable. The only problem caretakers will face with Seroquel is that patients will have to wear a diaper.
It maybe a little bit off Topic, But I always had trouble Understanding Korean's. mostly Psychiatrists are not completely normal people in Korean Culture. They insist on their medications which are harmful. Most studies show that more than mostly of patients are chemically castrated by these drugs. Victims must be compensated and psychiatrists brought to justice. Only then will we have science-based Psychiatry.
Is a burning headache a side effect of risperidone? I have a burning headache from a withdraw and akathisia, my doctors say it is occipital neuralgia which I believe because the pain responds to Benadryl. I really believe the drug caused my muscles in my neck to tighten which is compressing my occipital nerves creating a burning sensation that never goes
Yes they cause that.The doctors will tell you it was caused by something else to get you to take the pills until you die. they are never honest about the side effects even after people die.

Had Zyprexa not raised my blood sugar so high and kept it that way even with treatment, there's a good chance I would have been able to work a simple job. It caused massive weight gain, and I became diabetic. It messed with other chemicals in my body. I think Zyprexa has potential but needs more research done to it. Perphenazine has hardly any side effects for me, so that's what I take. It keeps me here, but like I said, Zyprexa was the best for my schizophrenia. Maybe they can prescribe preventative medications to go with it.

I don't remember much, except some odd dreams during the daytime. They let me out for a ride on my moped. So what did you think about the Zyprexa? I didn't know you gave me Zyprexa, but I remember the police was there to hold me down during the injection. How did it feel? "I don't know." I stumbled and fell in a shop at the station. But I thought it was a phizer covid-19 vac. That, I got a year later.

Yeah, risperdal caused parkinsoniam symptons on me.
I cannot speak for Haldol, but Risperidone causes bad parkinson - like symptoms.
