- Welcome to another episode of griefers and weirdos on Red Dead Redemption 2 Online. I'm in defensive mode the whole time that means I don't attack anyone first. Naturally all the clips are free aim.
I've noticed that you guys like the last one so I've made another one :D Enjoy!
This is why R* implemented defensive mode. Some veteran players are tired of stupidity. I only fight back when people decide to play like mental midgets.
Same as me mostly I'm a casual player only kill players if they shot at me first

thankfully this game isn't as much like gta where people are just killing eachother all the time and this game actually punishes for killing.
When I was newer to red dead online, I started shooting at this guy who was fishing. (He had just caught a lake sturgeon) and he came up and put it on the back of my horse. I then felt like complete shit and gave it right back to him and left him alone and haven’t bothered people who hunt or fish since
A lesson that needs to be told to griefers, don't start what you can't finish.
Im the type of player that comes up when you're in camp and drops a 3 star carcass next to Cripps or will put one on your horse.
If I'm in big valley hunting and someone is in their camp. I'll drop off an animal carcass off near them as a peace offering. I get a lot of waves and bows. I love the feeling. I hate getting harassed. I try avoiding by fleeing. If that doesn't work out I try to defend myself. The best I can. I'm more of a hunter.

it’s awesome meeting players like u. I try to help people out as much as I can too but sometimes I can’t resist going to a city and going bonkers on everyone in it. ( who aren’t doing role play )

Yes you only get kicked out of defensive and penalties if you use defensive to grief people that haven’t attacked you.

I have a similar story like the one at the end of the video. I was doing a resupply mission for Oleander Trading CO.(I renamed the company), and I was getting shot at by o'driscolls when a random player started shooting some of them while I stowed the bag on my horse. I waved at him to say thanks, and he waved back.
That was the only time I saw him. Haven't seen him again.
Players like u deserve an award from rockstar.. And plus I've seen ur videos and i can say beside a good player but also a scope master.. Gob job

I like giving out three star stuff especially with hunting being a bit difficult nowadays so I don’t mind helping others out and there’ll always be more animals so I don’t see a need to fight over carcasses

Do you rate the semi-auto shotgun over the repeating shotgun? Also, have you used the double barrel much? If so, how does it compare?

I haven’t used the double barrelled much. Since it’s only viable with paint it black and I don’t like using that card
I'll never forget when i was a lvl 12 and i had a perfect deer and gave it to someone... just for them to keep killing me over and over afterwards

I don’t get why people just leave their horses standing around in the middle of a gunfight lol. I always tell it to flee so no one kills him. I think my horse has died maybe once. And you can call it back whenever you want lol. But that’s just my observation.

Playing on and of. Since beta. Noticed a huge jump in griefing. I'm rank 106. Got shot while trying to craft, hunt. Ran into this weird posse lead by a 38 player with lv 6 shooting up Valentine.
Had a lowbie snipe my horse over and over with a rolling block rifle. It's getting really annoying since I prefer defensive mode.
I think people are getting bored since we are not getting any content... leading them to act like dicks in free roam

Defensive mode prevents that. You can enable it from online options
Step one to combat a griefer: Use long range rifle to pick off their horse. Then ride away while they wait around for "scrawny nag" to show up.

Defensive mode doesn’t seem to work for me. I get one-shot constantly. I am shit at the game though.
Use tonics. You can buy or craft them

Well yes, but actually no. If one idiot from a 8 man posse attacks you everyone becomes hostile. Even if they are friendly and never did or will fire a bullet in your direction. Game still counts them as an Enemy

Sorry to hear! I don't think that he had infinite ammo... But you can carry up to 50 explosive bullets ready on different guns so maybe this was the case instead.

No. You have to be careful and don’t shoot anyone who is blue on the map. In case they turn blue mid fight, you have no other choice to leave the area or wait for them to shoot you again.

Look, I know these guys are piece of shit griefers and deserve to be killed but what you did doesn't take much skill at all. I'm not saying you're bad at the game, I just think the system is broken as fuck. You can ride up to them on your horse with a bow and shoot explosive arrows at them and blow them sky high, and they can't lock on to you, and if they do land shots, it won't do much damage to you. I've been griefed by people who abuse the defensive mode, ill just be minding my business with friends then out of nowhere someone rides up doing the same thing as you, blowing us and our horses sky high with explosive arrows (I also had to pay the stable fee to get my horse back too) , we would all unload on that person with our rifles or whatever and he won't go down. It's used more as an offensive mode more than a defensive mode in my opinion.
These series of videos are not supposed to show if I'm bad/good. I'm just humiliating people who shoot/kill me for no reason when I'm being in friendly and in defensive mode. I have no problem using other weapons in Free Aim if you have seen my other videos. I just wanted to piss him off by blowing him up over and over again because he shot me for no apparent reason when I just waved at him. Thanks for watching but I really believe that you missed the whole point behind this video.
