- (Be sure to Subscribe for more of my content) This is a modded lets play of Grand Theft Auto IV of the LC Subway System in Liberty City. Now turned into the NYC Subway System thanks to the right mods to put this all together. i had to re-upload this due to the audio being terrible in the last one, now the audio is a bit more better in this one, enjoy!

Hello David! My favorite GTA IV modder, there are multiple things that really should be replaced/corrected in this mod, such as some of the signs in the stations still being from LC, like the signs at the upper left at 1:00 and upper right at 1:16, “Exit” signs like the one at the top at 1:14 and the one at 16:50 should also be replaced by their real life counter-parts (seen here: www.www.alamy.com/stock-photo-subway-exit-sign-at-new-york-subway-station-2010-33776697.html, of course the text to the right differs on each station) The fonts on the NYC style signs should also be upgraded, they appear to be printed in low quality, or are printed in the wrong font (correct font would be Helvetica Neue Bold)
The ticket machines also should be upgraded by having Metrocard printed on them along with the MTA logo, it seems that they are still in the old LC style. Also one of the 125th Street stations have to be replaced for the sake of realism. I may have missed some, but im sure you can find them yourself. @@sausagefruit7690 i have found thoes mods, i will plan on it, due to this being an old game and now that its been updated, and scripthook no longer works on it till its updated, taxi errors are still a problem, but i can work my way around it.

@Singapore Pearl it's based on the statue of liberty (which is called Happiness Island), empire State building, and times square which is called "Star Junction"

The fact that it only has three cars bothers me quite a lot. No semi-permanently coupled trains have an odd number of cars, at least in the US. The mod is really well done, though. 👍
I agree that they should have had like 6 cars or like how the US has it (10 cars) for ours trains that they should have implemented but yeah, should have evened it out but thank you anyways

The 7 train is an exception. It has 11 car trains (a set of 5 and a set of 6)
@@joshl4693 And the G normally uses 4 car R68/As, as well as the Rockaway Park (S)huttle which uses 4 car R46s, and the Franklin Avenue (S)huttle which uses 2 car R68s. The R46 and R68/A are all trains with 75 feet long cars. Lines like the B and D as well as sometimes the A, N, Q, and W trains run 8 car trains if they are to run these 75 feet long cars. Otherwise, it runs 10 car trains because the cars are 60 feet long. 60x10=600, as well as 75x8=600. Either way, they both equal the same length unless in special situations like previously mentioned. Additionally, the J, L, M, and Z trains are limited to 10 car trains, with the cars having to be 60 feet long. This includes the R32, R42, R143, R160 (or the R160A-1, specifically), and R179, all 60 feet long car trains composed of 8 car long trains. The R143 is limited to 8 car long trains. The C train also runs R32s and R160s that are 8 car long trains even though it is capable of running full length 10 car trains. The more you know.

The sign pack used, I know you didn't create it but would it kill the creator to use the line names in the game with the realistic NYC Signage. There actual existing NYC Subway logos for the A (which is used), C, K, B, J, 3 and even the 8 (Who existed in the 1970s), why use line names like the B, D, Q, 2 & 4? Like I get they tried the match the line to their real-life counterpart by what part of the city they go, and that's actually clever but if they already have REAL Subway logos for the lines that show up in the game wouldn't make more sense to use them especially because it matched the map in the mod? Just my nitpick. The R160s are dope BTW. Friends can't stop playing them on their version of the game.

The default train is already based off the NYC Subway, anyone born in the 90’s would recognize it as an R38

uh, because the Hove Beach Station is obviously modeled after Stillwell Avenue-Coney Island Station?

This isn't an accurate model. In NYC we don't have a k train nor does the 4 and D trains stop At times square
Jared Is Boomin there was no way it would have been accurate. It's in GTA4. Even the map is off. At least the lines either exist or used to excist and the station titles are real
The model textures on the inside is going to me re_modified in the next video soon
The B doesn’t stop at Times Square either and we used to to have a K but it was blue like the IND 8th Ave lines and although the A,Q and 2 do stop at Times Square, they forgot the 1,3,7,C,E,N,R,W and Shuttle to Grand Central

Are there rats included or are they separate?
I never had any mods installed that are related to animals being added, only subway model and texture changes a long with better environment mods. Its most likely to be apart of the game itself that they're rats in the subway, but I never really noticed any rats in the game as I wasn't focused on those details in this video, but if they are in there, that's a first for me.

hey rogue sans, i downloaded the mod with openiv and my game's screen started doing the endless drunk thing even though i did buy the game through steam and i didnt crack it or pirate it? do you know why?

The sounds of the trains are bugging me. The mod is great but the brakes of the nyc trains are very distinct and I would love to hear it.
I understand the R160s have a AC ventilation sound to them that i wanted to add in cause they always have it running, and the steam noise that comes out of it, im making future update to the train texture and sounds to make it more realistic and authentic
