I’ve just had my first carnival cruise! I’m from the UK and grabbed a quick 5 days. It absolutely was a fun ship! Everyone on the cruise was lovely and friendly, the staff were exceptional and the food the very best I’ve ever had! The Tacos on board the Valour are amazing and I treated myself to the chefs table which was incredible!
I love Carnival! I have been on at least 30 Carnival cruises. I only had one problem where some fool tried to fight me because I was in the Platinum line at Guest Services. He told me that he wanted me to get in the regular line. I refused. He went crazy. I stood in line and handled my business. He got over it. He was ignorant. I still had fun.
We're on the Jubilee in 4 days and doing the ABC Islands next December. We always cruise right at the first week of December temps are a little cooler in the Caribbean and less unsupervised kids running around. Except for our first cruise I always book my own cruises. Great vid guys.
It sounds like you have some fun coming up. The ABC islands were out favorite. I recommend people who enjoy booking it themselves to do so. . Thank you for hanging out with us.
I'm sorry your experiences was bad. I've realized ship selection is crucial. Our ship was pretty good. Thank you for watching and hanging out with us for a couple minutes.
Thank you for your transparency about travel agents vs booking on your own. I'm the type that loves planning and researching, so I would pretty much never use a travel agent. I for sure know folks who would be much happier with the help. But I just loved your "just the facts" way of putting it out there.
You're welcome. I have always believed if I tell people the truth I can find the people looking for me faster. Thank you for hanging out with us and watching.
My husband and I have been on multiple cruise ships (most all of the major ones anyway) and unfortunately Carnival was our least favorite for many reasons that I won't list for time sake. I'll boil it down to we are very laid back and didn't realize at the time that Carnival was known as a 'party' ship (we were pretty new to cruising back then). We have noticed that 'most' of the negative news we hear about cruising has highlighted Carnival ships. Many cruise influencers are responsible for doing this and it doesn't help Carnival's image at all. However, everyone's experience is 'their' experience! Lol
You are right about everything. Carnival gets a lot of bad press. We love Carnival what we find is chosinggyhe right cruise line and even ship is key. Thank you for hanging out with us.
Carnival may have changed in recent years. 2016/2017 I cruised Carnival, and I had a great experience. I cruised Carnival again this past summer and all I saw was substandard food, crowded ships, and lack of organization in general. I will not be back.
Carnival is about Deck parties, the fun squad, lots of events put on by the fun squad, etc. The cruise director is out and about with their big personalities, and they always have the best CD's. If that's too much activity for some people, cruise elsewhere. Don't let some people (who I think have never sailed on CCL but are just repeating the propaganda) scare you away from Carnival. We have cruised CCL many times and have never witnessed some of the stuff that these "haters" like to gaslight people with. Also, we thought RC was kind of boring after being on CCL, but that's our opinion. Go see for yourself.
You are 100. Every cruise line caters to a different client. Me personally I need constant activity. We are trying Royal for the first time next week. Let's see how we like it. Thanks for your insight.
GOOD!! It's getting too crowded!! Take out a 30 year mortgage so you can cruise Viking!! You just need to practice looking down your nose at the unwashed masses with out bumping your head!!
went on 10 carnival cruises took the last ship going to cuba before Trump stopped it and never had a problem we had a lot off fun spent a lot of money in the casino ( you're welcome carnival )

I have taken dozens of cruises. The ONLY one I wouldn't go on is Carnival. Took it in May from New Orleans but just tooooooo low level.
