Norton would call Opie a comedian on air, only to find out he was calling him the "unfunniest fuck in the world" behind the scenes. Opie has come out and said how he hated Ant's rants on race and politics, during the show he would play on his phone and say nothing. Ant said how he didn't like the way Opie would ruin the lives of the show's producers, but he never stepped in and did anything about it while the checks were coming in. Cumia is completely in the wrong here. He went online and basically called Bill Burr's wife ugly. Bill Burr, a guy who went on the O&A show for years to make millions of people laugh. Yeah, things went sour when Anthony was taking a photo of a lady in Manhattan and she angrily tried to hit him. (Imagine some random dude trying to take a photo of you; it's weird). Anthony then went on Twitter to call all black people animals. Bill Burr didn't come out to defend Anthony but he also did not come out against him. Bill did the respectful thing, as a friend, and kept his mouth shut.
If I'm being honest with myself, I knew Cumia was capable of this. When he went on the air years ago and trashed Jill Nicolini, I knew he was not a good person. Jill Nicolini, a woman who was Anthony Cumia's girlfriend and caught him cheating on her. He then went on the air to say that she leaks fatty-fluid from her butt and that her boob job feels like soap in a sock. Imagine doing that to a girl you dated. I knew then that he was a piece of garbage.
Now, Anthony has justifiably become a pariah. Bill Burr, on the other hand, is selling out Madison Square Garden and is part of the Star Wars Franchise. As in all things, the cream rises to the top and the garbage sinks to the bottom of the ocean.
I did not expect to see this anthology demonstrated here tonight. Thanks for the poetic input lol.
After he explained that he brought a girl home to his ex wife to Patrice, Patrice said something to the effect of "shit, I don't got no sympathy for you now haha"
I think they all kinda got the feeling that he was a bit of a scum bag. What did Joey Diaz say? "Comics are dirty fuckin dogs in a rotten business." Some shit like that. Patrice said the same thing. He found comedy because he wanted to be funny, then he got in comedy, and realized it wasn't that funny. Lots of scum bags and ass kissing and gossipy shit and hollywood corruption trash.
Disk Jockeys aren't that far from comedians in that respect. They ruin each others' careers for laughs. Jim Florentine shits in people's sunroofs, all the other crazy stories you hear. At least Patrice was an asshole to the other comics but stuck to his principles. Never fake like so many -- like Ant here in this clip.

I love listening to Old O&A and Anthony and Patrices race talks. And I think Anthony is hilarious. But if you are 100% on his side, you haven't been listening. Anthony has said multiple times that he IS indeed racist, had multiple racist/racial tirades against blacks, one of which got him fired from O&A(which I admit in the long run wasn't fair because he had always been that way on the show, patrice just wasn't alive to make it ok to say). Even at the end of this, he has to point out bills wife is black when he says F her.
