That´s one of the reasons I quit selling on Ebay. Scamming is becomming more and more and Ebay gives the buyer all the rights. Don´t let this drag you down, Tam!
Greetings to you, Belle and the boys
Hi nulle, yes it’s getting worse as is the customer service which used to be much better. Ah well I’ll just keep going like you say. Love to you and the family 🤩❤️
Shocking treatment, Tam !
Thank you Mike and Frances, ikr it sucks. Appreciate the support 👍
It really is terrible that the buyer is “always right”! Clearly someone who has done this kind of thing before and knows that eBay will always be in their favour. No matter the value, it’s the principle of the matter, Tam. Hope you win on appeal. Fingers crossed. X x x 😡🥴😘
Yep mum, something that has been rare for me on eBay but it needs to be pointed out when this happens. Thanks for your support 🙂😍❤️ x x x
eBay doesn’t care about sellers. It’s makes a big thing about how much they care but they really don’t especially small sellers like us. Buyers know they can get away with it.
Exactly they only care about the top 0.5% I reckon. It’s not easy for a small business on there. Thanks for watching
Rant away Tam - I can see the frustration, it’s like “computer says no…..” you come up against a brick wall 😠 it’s not about the money it’s the way it’s all one sided at times. I watched a vlog from Sophie Sohet and she sold a LV bag on eBay for thousands…buyer said they “loved it”…weeks later she had her PayPal and eBay frozen as the buyer said there was a transaction on her Mastercard she “didn’t recognise”… took her weeks of back & forth to sort it. They released Sophie’s money eventually but the buyer got a refund from Mastercard AND kept the bag 😮unbelievable! She stopped selling after that, eBay needs to protect sellers as much as buyers. Especially now you can’t negatively feedback for a buyer on any transaction! You do a great job Tam - keep going 😊all the best!
Wow yeah I’ve had a chargeback before and won it thankfully, that would really suck ! Thanks for all your support and the comment Jill 🙂👍
When you have a weird case or think you are dealing with a scammer you need to call eBay customer service. Not just rely on their process it’s got many layers
Hi, I did call that’s the thing, I still got denied. I phoned again when appeal failed and hopefully had more success as I managed to finally get my point across. I’ll add a follow up in a future video. Thanks for watching 👍
It happen to me to
Terrible Kevin, it should not be allowed to happen if you have proof. Cheers for watching
@tamsresellinglife yes I sent someone a jigsaw the say the did not get it so I send a refund but check the tracking a few days after and there had got it
@ happens a lot unfortunately
I had something very similar recently. I sold a dress and the customer wanted to return it as it didn't fit. Fair enough.
eBay provided a label and it showed that the customer had dropped it off at their local post office. After a while it hadn't turned up and the buyer opened a case saying they hadn't received a refund. I checked and on the RM tracking it showed it hadn't moved, yet eBay had marked it as delivered to me.
I put in my side of the case and eBay put it on hold for 10 days to see if it would turn up. While I was up in Fife last week I got a notification saying the case was closed in the buyers favour as it was now delivered. When I got home, there was nothing there and RM tracking was still showing that it hadn't moved from the buyers local post office.
Fortunately when I called eBay I got a nice Scottish lady who looked at the tracking and instantly refunded me and removed any defects.
Not saying the buyer did anything wrong (other than not reading the description with the measurements), but this was all on eBay for marking an item delivered when it clearly wasn't.
Thanks Paul, yes that’s good that you managed to get your situation sorted, gives me a little hope though that I will get it reversed. I won’t go away easy anyway lol. Thanks for watching bud 👍
Escalate to a police complaint online and add reference number to the case.
That might’ve been a possiblity, I will have an update on the next video ian
Thats crazy such a blatant scam, why are ebay ok with this THEY lose out on money too!
I have no idea, they just see it as delivered and buyers always get all the protection even when I proved it’s not came to my address. Thanks for watching 👍
You need to get on the phone to them again. So much for extra protection for sellers!!! That is bad mate
Yeah, I will see what happens with appeal then if it’s rejected I’ll be straight on the phone. I will probably have to claim with Royal Mail as well 🤦♂️. Thanks for the support 👍
@ but this isn’t Royal Mail at fault they wont help and won’t see it as their problem. I used to work there, the days of good customer service have all but fucked off. This is eBay and they should not have let this go in his favour! Pisses me off mate!
@@dhsugarblade thanks pal, yeah that’s a good point, it seems like they have not properly checked the tracking or anyone can use this type of scam for returns!
@thing is if he puts in for a return the label provided by eBay will have your address on so it doesn’t make sense!
Yep I offer free returns so the buyer has went out of their way to not send it back to me. Just silly over such a low value thing
Ebay should of upheld your claim as royal mail show the item was delivered to a totally different address to yours SCAM SCAM SCAM
Hi Alan, I know, I don’t know if I just got unlucky with the person in charge of my case or what but I won’t give in easy that’s for sure. Thanks for watching 👍🙂
Oh nooooo. How can people be so nasty. The buyer has posted it to a relative. What the hell. It’s the vileness of this scam and I bet you the buyer does this all of the time It’s shame on eBay. If this buyer is also a seller I hope karma happens because this type of scam makes my blood boil. It makes me want to round up the chukachup crew and get the coach on the road to justice. Like you say Tam it’s not even the money, it’s that someone can be such a scumbag. Group hug from all of us.
Thanks for your support Joan, as you say hopefully karma finds its way to the buyer if this was deliberate. Thanks for watching and for the hug 🤗
Disgusting aint it Tam. I dont understand the incompetence of some companies
It really is and it’s so easy to fix if they do a better investigation but they take the easy way out. Thanks for watching
There's some right rats out there in the world you would have thought eBay would have used some common sense knowing that it hasn't been delivered to your correct address trie not to let it spoil your day and week and move on and keep your head up
That’s the issue Shaun. They did not look into the tracking deep enough to see it was not delivered to my address. If they had the whole thing would have been sorted. Thanks for watching bud
