She nails all the heavy emotion of a Martyre and unrequited love... hard to believe when she was on 'I'd do Anything," one of the judges was very critical of her lack of emotion, because now it's her biggest strength.
I love these clips from the musical! Do you have any from the cast from 2013-2015? I'd love to have seen Carrie Fletcher as Eponine, but didn't get to :(
I think that is by design.... a concept the 2012 movie did not understand when it cut several of the scenes of Eponine.... Marius chooses Cosette, but the audience is supposed to fall in love with Eponine.
It's called "musical theatre acting" I think. She is performing to be seen and heard by 1200 people yards and yards away. We see a close up but they do not. Actually Samantha Barks, the Eponine here, addressed that in a feature of the movie. She is supposed to make to make it really powerful in the theatre and they had to direct her to tone it down quite a bit in the movie since Marius was right there and wasn't supposed to hear. It's just one of many differences of theatre acting and movie acting. Sam's great flexibility and ability to take direction lets her do both.
whenever sam sings "dagger in me" gets me everytime! shes so perfect

bobbyb900 i love how in “i’d do anything” one of the judges helped her with the emotion in her voice and now you can see her improvement
Karina Rubin
Oh my god me too
I love how she stops dead in her tracks when he says hger name
If only Katie Hall was there, they'd have 3 of the best Les Miz people ever. :3

The one and only Gareth Gates!
Any idea if the 2011 West end full version of the musical is available for sale anywhere???
#1 rule of Les Miz: Eponine > Cosette.

I don’t agree with this but I also think cosette has a bigger part so argue with me if u want but my opinion I wanted to state
@@kastheglitch i think cosette has a more important character but eponine has a bigger part since she has her own song and she dies AND ITS SO SAD
No
Why does she scream that first line? She did it so much better in the movie!
she didn't scream it, she just belted. also, you have to be louder on stage than in a movie studio that has mics and upclose cameras
