- A seven-and-three-quarter-mile circular countryside walk in Hertfordshire, to locate the Trig Point near the village of St Paul’s Walden.
My walk begins at the All Saints Church in St Paul’s Walden and heads up through the grounds of Stagenhoe House. I next follow footpaths through woodland and fields to the hamlet of Poynders End, then downhill along the Chiltern Way to Chapelfoot.
After crossing the road at Chapelfoot, I head uphill along the Hertfordshire Way to Almshoe Bury, where I use the drone to film the ruins of Minsden Chapel, then follow farm tracks downhill to the hamlet of Langley Bottom.
The final section of the walk heads uphill to the hamlet of Easthall to locate Trig Point S4471 (140 metres), located at Little Easthall Farm, then return to St Paul’s Walden using the Chiltern Way.
This video was filmed in 4K on a GoPro Hero 11 and a DJI Mini 3 Drone, on a sunny day in May 2024.
If you would like to suggest a walk for me to video, please let me know in the comments.

The greenery is just staggering at this time of year! The weather has been lousy during my son's half-term break, which is typical!
@Bishie87 it's sod's law that the weather turns lousy during half-term. We just need more bright sunny days like yesterday!
