Multiple imputation in Stata®: Predictive mean matching

  • Learn how to use Stata's mi suite of commands to handle missing data. This tutorial covers how to impute a single continuous variable with predictive mean matching using the mi impute pmm command.
    Note that in later versions of Stata, you will need to type 1 into the field for "Number of nearest neighbors"

    What's the point of a video tutorial when all that is done is referring to the manual, who cares if the videos are 15min+, just explain all of it.

    Currently there is not a video for an example of missing values for more than one variable. But it can be done using -mi- in Stata and a video example will be posted soon.

      it’s been 10 years. is there a video on how to perform MICE pmm for multiple variables and have the missing values replaced with the imputed values??

    This is barely usefull unless an actual explanation on the insight of the command is given
