明けましておめでとうございます！
大分元気になりましたが、
三年程、鬱と不安症を経験しました。
楽しかったことが楽しくなくなって、
今までできたことができなくなって、
カウンセリングに行くようになって、
冬の夜遅くに車の中で一人でピザを
食べていた時期もありました。
失敗や痛みの中にいた時、この曲に
何度も力をもらいました。僕の音楽
が少しでも誰かの励ましとなったら
嬉しいです。

Happy New Year!
I’m doing better now, but I went through
depression and anxiety this past 3 years.
Life became dull,
cold sweat became the norm,
and I eventually began seeing a counselor.
I spent late nights alone in my car
with a box of Papa John’s
feeling like the biggest loser in the world.
Mistakes I made and scars I carry will likely stay for a while.
There was, however, grace and forgiveness that I encountered amidst the pain
in a profoundly fresh manner.
The gospel is indeed good news for the poor,
and truly, God restores the soul.
I recently translated my favorite Korean worship song which has been a source of hope when I most needed comfort. As I write, I am praying that God would use my voice and my hands to bring healing to someone somewhere.
