This Large Walnut Tree NEEDS A Bit Of Work

Whilst working in this garden on other jobs, i noticed this tree had some big broken hanging branches in it and some large limbs which were growing into a nearby conifer tree. I advised the homeowner these need addressing. So as i had a bit of time left over at the end of the day, I set to pruning this tree the make it safe for the client, removing the damaged branches and giving it a slight crown lift, to free up the conifer. We used a Stihl pole saw and a telescopic pruner, for this work on this backyard tree.

Yes i love trees and always try to do the minimalist as poss. Pruning is often very beneficial for them, especially the neglected ones. Thanks 👍

Does your pole saw have a 1/4 pitch chain? It makes clean cuts my MS 194t has the same chain and its great for reducing.
