Why do you think that you could use Composite cables to use the gameplay feature I’ve seen tons of videos where other people were using composites RV TV out cable for the PSP that worked perfectly fine for the 2000 and 3000
I have the Sony component cable and a LG Tv that supports this I only have one audio imput wen all connected picture is good but no sound I have tried everything An does not seem to work can anyone help?
You connect the bottom end, the end with the headphone 3.5mm and pins, to your psp. The 5 plugs on the other end, the red/blue/green video and red/white audio, go into the component ports on your TV of matching color. Kinda self explanatory. If your tv only has HDMI, then you need to get an upscaler like the framemeister (or cheaper) to connect it.
What the heck kind of TV is/was this supposed to connect to? I mean TV's have *three* AV inputs. Red Yellow White. This thing has *five* cables that are Redx2 Green Black White? WTF??? Does anyone even make a TV with these inputs?
every LG tv i've ever owned that's been a flatscreen has had component cables. They are also called RGB connectors. The AV cables are rather out dated by todays standards. Even the ps2 had support for RGB...
Not sure i can really help, but make sure your PSP has the most up to date firmware installed, not custom firmware, as that can sometimes mess with stuff. Also check the cable is not faulty.
Thank you for this, you’ve saved me buying the wrong cable.
Supposedly, if you use the 3000 handheld (you were using the 2000 revision), you can output games through composite.
I didn’t know the cables did that . I just ordered me a component cable thank you 👍 good video

You can add an HDMI output to the PSP-1000 and PSP-1001 series. Search for this video: "Giving the PSP an HDMI Upgrade!"
Give link to buy composite cable.

Yeah, they aren't as standard as most Tv's but there's plenty out there. Tv's and monitors.

@@zzzhuh I do recall now having a TV with RGB inputs, but I haven't seen a single one with those in over a decade now.
@@renegade_fire RGB and Component are different inputs.
