This is one anime that needs to be remastered. Was one of my favorites and still is, also love the sequel to it as well.
No "remaster", just a new transfer and cleanup with new blu ray.

But the original character designer left the project in the early 2000s + Koyasu doesn't seem to have interest in finishing the story, so... only in our dreams.

Very nostalgic, one of my fave anime and ost from 90s.. i remember i used to collect laminated cards of knight hunters, magic knight reyearth, slam dunk, genzo maden saiyuki, gundam wing, and many more...^.^ ahh the best!

this anime was the best. I loved it although all of the bad stuff that they went through i kept crying because it was so sad. My sister and i finished watching this and now we are moving on to part 2. Weiss is super awesome, Omi and Aya are my favorites ^_^

Well, when I was younger I did love the Anime A LOT. But to be honest, the animation sometimes really sucked 8'D But I dunno...I still liked the characters and I still enjoy watching it. This series just has a special place in my heart :'3
@SalchichaPolaca Actuallly Saiyuki is WAY different than Weiss Kreuz. Saiyuki deals with themes like saving the world, how the main characters are trying to save themselves and coping with your past. They're pretty much anti-heroes being forced to save the world while the Weiss boys are just assasins who get rid of corrupt people. BIG difference there.

I don't know about det ba, but Weiss Kreuz was aired in the Philippines back in the late 90s in a title under "Knight Hunters." I watched it as well back when I was a kid, but I did not understand it too well then.

Weiß Kreuz is part of a subgenre of anime that was specific to the 90s and even 00s anime scene that I like to call "boyband anime". Examples of this includes Gundam Wing, Ronin Warriors, Saiyuki, and Yu Yu Hakusho

@SalchichaPolaca I like both shows (Weiss was one of my first animes actually) but if I had to pick I'd go with Saiyuki only because WK was completely ruined when Gluhen came out. No harm no foul. I just didn't see how the two shows were similar but I didn't mean any harm by my comments. Sorry.
