DAF CF transmission warning - its EASY with JALTEST

- this week's video we have a DAF CF with Zf as tronic lite gearbox problems and a Red transmission warning light causing no drive.
with the initial diagnosis of "it needs a power-packed fitting" I'm going to go through my diagnosis methodology using jaltest (which can be found here: www.eclipse-tech.co.uk/produc... )
and prove that it's always best to test and not guess before throwing parts at a customer's truck.

Cheers for the comment Steve, I will always attempt to repair, even if it's to get the customer going, sometimes I have to make an educated guess but I make sure they know I've exhausted every possibility and why I'm doing it.
They might own a 100-grand truck but it's not a green light to take them to the cleaners 😑

The gearbox has served ZF well but it will be POWERLINE from now on........we will see what issues this new box brings 🙄

I'd hate to think buddy! 🤔 Some people go fault code blind and just change what they think the diagnostic computer is telling them, unfortunately 😕
It's why it's important to test and not guess in this game not only for our reputation but the customers' wallet 😎

cracking video manny. Scania have a similar megafuse board behind the n/s 1st wheel. I learned the hard way that its probably best to disconnect the battery before replacing those fuses 🤯

Hi, thank you for the comment. Diagnostics did identify it by VIN number? You press auto vin identification and JALTEST knows what truck it is?
Я просто нерозумію навіщо ви показуєте цю функцію якщо вона нормально не працює. При запросі vin вона видає багато моделів авто. З таким успіхом можна подивитись на кабіну і побачить яке передвами авто. Ваший жест був схожий на рекламу діагностичного обладнання.
How does it not work properly? You press the button, and it identifies the truck every time for DAF....one press and it takes me to DAF CF.
