  • Reginald “New York Reggie” Douglas Jr. and his mother, Lena Jackson, sat down for their first-ever VladTV interview, and Reggie started off by speaking about being born a millionaire to his teenage parents. After Reggie spoke about his father’s death when he was 5, Lena went on to speak about Reggie’s father getting the nickname “Cisco Kid” in Harlem. Lena then detailed how Cisco got into the streets as a young teen, where he rose to be a kingpin. After speaking about Cisco’s come-up and how they met, Reggie spoke about how he started getting in the streets, and how he was arrested for murder in 1990. Reggie then spoke about how he was involved in a RICO case while he was serving 25 years, and he went on to speak about the moment he knew he hurt his mother with his actions. From there, Reggie detailed his time in prison, including getting a degree, and what his life has been like since his release. To hear more, including Reggie speaking about his book, hit the full interview above.

    I lost a brother to this sort of thing, and he wasn't in the game at all. He was an innocent bystander who lost his life. This makes it somewhat hard for me because I feel like this is being glorified. I am happy for him and his mom that he made it out. I wish me, my mom, and my family could know what that happiness feels like. Unfortunately, we feel hurt and pain because we miss my brother so much. Maybe I could be okay if he was a part of that world, but he wasn't, and it still hurts as if it were yesterday. I still feel the hurt in my soul and heart. So I ask Mr Reginald Douglas Jr, Ms Lena Jaxkson and Vlad, how do I move pass the hurt and pain because it still hurts soooooooo bad. My brother was my best friend and I miss him soooooooo much 😢.

      You are exactly right VLAD loves to glorify these MONSTERS in our community and these SLAVE GIGGAS love him... But that's what "black folks" love to hear and emulate. It's no wonder why our communities are in the condition they are in. Wake up and learn who you really are... Their so INTELLIGENT but they never figure out what to do with the money except cars, clothes, and hoes🤔

    • @Anonymous-pg2lr
      @Anonymous-pg2lr Рік тому +5

      @Gee Wiz Well said
      From reading others' comments, it's parent that they glorify this sort of thing as well. It doesn't matter that loved ones were murdered and families were destroyed. Sad. So many people in the comments think this is cool and okay, and that hurts my heart that people actually condone this sort of havoc reeked on innocent folks' lives and families.

    • @Anonymous-pg2lr
      @Anonymous-pg2lr Рік тому +5

      @Gee Wiz Someone actually gave her props for being a strong women queen, and she was okay with her son and hisbands murdering people. What kind of world is this that people are okay with this sort of havoc. All the tragedies caused, and they feel she deserves respect. I am speechless.

We have been able to remain strong because we have done so together as a family unit as we know my dad would want us to. In a way it’s painful because you have to sit down and breath and just walk around the yard, the track whatever you want to call it and say to yourself with all of the passion you have in your chest, “Man, by the grace of God, this is over!” The biggest feeling however, is a surreal feeling. Yo I was inspired by this. Peace and love to all the people that know Good Men that this country conspired to get behind bars. Yo I hope he has a Good Amazing rest of his life man and may God Bless all the Good Men and Women. Also on a lighter note, why he remind me so much of one of my favorite rappers Ghost.

    Most powerful vlad video of all time. 2 things I know, the interviewer is absolutely exceptional. The other is, vlad could never in his dreams mimic anything close to this. He can't help but to make things about himself every chance he gets.
    Not trying to be negative though, so also shout out to Vlad for passing the sticks

    There is nothing happy,good or fulfilling about drugs,murder,crime. I thank God the person that I once talked to was about this life,I thank God I knew my worth and left him alone because he was pure evil.This life brings nothing but pain!! I pray to those who want different will do things different u don't have to be what your Parents are,I am proud of that. GET some therapy

    I know you can’t really know a person from an interview but they made me feel like I know them. I felt their passion and pain. Whatever this man did, he served his debt. He’s clearly a good man. It saddens me because I wonder what guys like him, including myself, would have turned out to be had they had the proper guidance. Great interview.

    I got robbed by a former friend in SE DCfor $900. I was taking it to my brother so I hr could buy cancer medication bc it wasn’t covered. Cops asked who robbed me. I said I didn’t know even tho I know exactly who it was. Not gonna drop a dime on anyone for nothin unless you a child molester. My bro died of cancer a year later. The guy who robbed me have the nerve to reach out, and gave condolences. He was found dead a few months later In the Potomac River I sent a card to his fiancée with a heartfelt message that miney ruins friendships brotherhoods if $900 come between our friendship like ours. Well, I would say whoever put them in the Potomac river should be considered a debt collector. Hopefully him and my brother are somewhere laughing about how life on earth is so sad and tragic. How one of them is up there because his brother got robbed her medicine money and the other one got his karma for being Unloyal and a scum bag. God bless the dead. All menwill be forgiven. Im sure you’re wondering if I killed him. If I’m not gonna rob me, why would I snitch on anybody else including myself? And no I didn’t. But if I did it- it would’ve been self-defense because the last time I saw him he had a gun in my face and said he’d kill me next time if I try to be tough. pull a gun on me trying to come so hypothetically if we did run into each other again and I did hypothetically kill him I would have been defending myself, but that’s just pure speculation. I’m pretty sure he just was walking near the river one day- fell in and drowned.
