I was walking the streets of Prague in May and stumbled upon a shop with a 737 NG simulator that served cocktails! So my wife and I went in, had a few drinks, then I climbed in the left seat! Lots of fun.
Wow... The simulator you enjoyed sounded to be like the most realistic ever. I hear that most pilots have a few drinks before flying also. I AM JUST JOKING!! Thank-you for sharing.
Thank-you Alex for the tour of your new simulator center. I like the experience one of your viewers had about the one in Prague that also served booze. I am certain that your new facility will provide some great entertainment value for you all. Although it might seem that the pricing is high, I can imagine that just the initial cost for everything related to the equipment, et al is staggering beyond belief and cost someone a pretty hefty piece of chump change. I do suggest that before someone heads to this place that they practice at home with flight simulation software for a PC or TV entertainment device, if they want to maximize their experience and enjoyment. Anyone who waltzes in as a self-made jet-jockey will be in for a post graduate course, if the simulators are as true to life as stated. But again, this is just a suggestion, since having fun is the aim, and I am not one who criticizes how someone spends his cash for entertainment. I am suspicious when it comes to how close to a real simulator these at the center might be. A certified simulator is an entirely different ball of wax. The initial price is around $1.5 million (USD) just for the Boeing 737 simulator, and actual simulator time costs about $1,000 an hour. Besides all that, what happened on 9-11 still has folks in the US a bit paranoid when it comes to the average “Joe Six-pack” from the streets logging simulation hours. Even though Canada and the US are sovereign nations, I tend to think they remain sensitive towards each other in certain matters. Thank-you again for sharing this news with us, Alex. I always enjoy the news from you all up north.
Hi Angel, These type of service is on the expensive side due to the cost of the simulators and the cost of running them. However we tried to make our price as reasonable as possible. We are priced below most of the other flight simulation center in USA and Europe. currently we have 15% discount with LoveYYC code.
AWESOME! Trip to Calgary now on the planning!

That sound amazing
There's a place in Toronto that has a 737ng simulator
Add that to the list when I come to Calgary.
Just booked this for tonight. Excited to take my son! These look seriously awesome! F18 and Spitfire
Do you get to wear a combat helmet when flying the F-18s?
Must go
Nice!😎
Super
Seems a bit expensive but I assume it’s definitely worth the price.
Imagine how it'll go up once they're certified
Hi CJets,
Thanks. We tried to keep our prices reasonable. We are priced less than most of the similar businesses in USA and Europe.
Altitude Flight Simulation That’s good to hear. I will definitely try and visit sometime!

That's really interesting but I find it to be on the rather expensive side
It’s a lot of money to maintain and make the price is perfect fine.
$99 for half an hour in the 737?!?! Wow so expensive! :(
Chadwicked B yeah but I really want to fly the 737

If you're ever in Toronto, Threshold charges I think about the same for a full hour in a 737NG. Totally worth it
Cool!!!
Too bad they use Prepar3d..X-Plane 11 would be a better choice and the professional version can be used to log real hours on.
This costs the same as taking my kids to see a movie and Chinook, and this is WAY cooler IMO
👍
They spelled "Centre" wrong on their sign...
Mitchell Phillips BWAHAHAHAH
Centre is British English, Center is American English
@@HymanJoe I'm aware, it's just that they're in Calgary, and we use British English in Canada
@@mitchellphillips7086 yea that is the spelling for anywhere in Calgary but they may be an american company opening in canada using american spelling
It seems we overlooked this spelling difference :)
