Miss Circle could play an important role in here. I think some of the students can be in a small safehouse or room, hence why you dont see them here. Note; Why didnt Zip take the gun at the start , it was ontop of a locker. The place seems to be post-∆lice, so it takes place probably after ∆lice's rampage. Smaller theory; ∆lice could of been the vessel cause of this infection, due of that the entire world “De-paperfies”, causing an abnormal sideffect to the paperitians. Just a theory though. But think about it.
