Let me just add! MA70, Z31, SC300, SC400, FC, AE86, MR2, 240Sx, 3000GT, NSX, HR 350Z. Sad that some on my list are impossible to find now unmolested.
You're talking about very very old cars, it's just how it is, after a cars 20 years old or more, they become rare to find in good condition.
Facts, i prefer stock, but & only if it has minor & tasteful mods. Cause no one likes the previous owners taste in mods
No one ever mentions Celica GT4's, those are still cheap, rare, reliable and fun to drive!
I have mentioned them a few times, I think they're one of my favorite cars ever right now.

Another one for the list of buy while you can would be Lexus Soarer/SC, again, great car with many unique features, still very affordable (at least in UK, you could pick a decent V8 one for under £5k. 1JZ seems to be more expensive.) 👍

I bought my 90 Miata 3 years ago for $2500 at 91k original miles. I've put about 30k miles on it since because it was my daily. I don't plan to sell it ever but seeing the prices rise hit me in the feels

Love my 26k mile 2006 EVO 9 🤤. Already got offered 50k but turned it down. Not the type of person to flip cars rather get a few a clean classic 90s JDM cars and enjoy them till I’m old and dead 😂😂😂😂

Side note for people who are looking into getting an Evo 8/9. Don’t get the 6 speed if you’re looking for high power. The 6 speeds are weaker when it comes to delivering power!! And no don’t get an Evo X MR! The auto trans are like the 5 speeds in Subarus. Glassss
So which version is best for power for the Evo 9?
@@estimateddeatharrival RS or GSR(base model). They have the 5 speed which is muchhhh better. Although I personally say get the 8(it’ll cost less since 9s have a premium on them) because the MiVEC in the 9’s internal parts cost more so like cams and pistons. Plus if you fully build the engine then the MiVEC basically gets deleted in the process. That and you won’t have to worry about the ACD going out. Which won’t hinder your performance it’ll just have 3 lights lit up on the dash. I was looking for a 9 SE at first but couldn’t find any and tbh? I stopped caring whether it was an 8 or a 9 lol so I said fuck it because I can always buy the 9 front bumper later on. So I bought a bone stock Evo 8 lol.

@@estimateddeatharrival my bad yo!😂 if you ever look for an Evo; do your research beforehand! If you want something more daily friendly then get the MR! I fill up my tank at least every 3-4 days since they run rich😩. If you look for an Evo X then make sure to ask questions about the timing chain especially the 2008-2010 years since they tend to stretch which can end your engine! It ended my Evo X. I suggest getting an eclipse if you want something cheaper than an Evo! They still have the 4g63 just a tad bit different and wayyyy cheaper!

i bought a running clean z32 for 1600 like a month ago. as far as i can tell doesnt need engine work and the frame looks pretty good, not perfect, but good

2 and half years ago, I've brought used VW golf R32 Mk4 about 6.5k and I have drove with it smoothly and in style and got good care of it, finally I sold it around 15k and brought Is 300 around 18k.

I bought a rx8 while they are cheap. I couldn’t afford a rx7 and went the cheaper, crappier brother. I paid 9k AUD and they are about 13k AUD 12 months later. I also own a NA miata (mx5 in Aus). Paid 6k 2 years ago, now they are 12k.
I recently bought a WRX as it’s my teenage years dream car and I just know they will be cult car in 10 or 20 years.
I’m pretty happy with my weekend cars. I’d prefer gtr, Supra and rx7 but I left my run to late 😥

India didn't get as much good cars because you guys have Indian car companies such as Mahindra Tata Force and the government's wanted its people to buy Indian cars which resulted in imposing heavy taxes on imports and making it harder for foreign companies to sell there cars in India

I really don’t like the idea of cars being an investment. Cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed but if you enjoy seeing cars as an investment do what you want to do.
Have 4 cars for this reason. One daily and then 3 weekend cars. Between them I can drive them all I want on days off work but only do a few thousand kms in each per year.

in canada the r34 vspec ii's are selling for over 100k right now. i work at a dealership that sold a white one for 110 and a millenium jade for 130k. absolutely nuts since they were bought for like 70k just over a year prior (before covid)

The used car market is insane!!! I'm in DFW, TX area and the least expensive Honda S2000 I've seen with a quick search is a 2002 with 147K miles for $19K !!! The car is 20 years old! I have a 2018 Audi Q5 but want a sports car, my wife just purchased a MB SUV so I think I'm going to sell the Q5 and keep her 2015 Audi A3....auto...not quite a sports car but hey....I'm not paying $25K for an S2000 ! Great cars but....when the market hits a recession will the used car market drop like a rock too? I wouldn't bet against it!
I feel like GD chassis STI's should be here as well, if they're clean and pretty much stock. I've had mine for 6 years and went from 47k to 96k miles and its basically worth the same money.

I have 2002 Bugeye that I bought for 7k in 2013. Ive gotten offers around and even above 7k 🤷🏾♂️. Pretty cool to break even... Mind you, my Subie is mad clean.

Tbh I wouldn’t keep it stock Bc there’s no fun in it with these old cars but if you do get them stock just modify them like tommy get coil overs nice wheels and do full bolt ons and if you’re going to sell it you can convert it to stock and sell it as stock

To anyone reading this, do what you want with your car. The only good advice here is that you should hold onto the stock components if and when you decide to sell if you do modify your car.

A car that is extremly rare is a acura legend type II cupe only about 500 left it comes with a forged engine 6 speed manual and it loves turbos I have two of them one is turbo and the outher is super charged thay both are about 800-900 hp just with gapped rings fier rigs and a good tune with my custom bult speeduino ecu I also have a 04 rl with a 3.5 C-series with rear mounted sequential turbos with 1000 hp but nobody works on the C-series and nobody will ever start thair is simply no aftermarket for it it's just unfortunate the C-series has so much potential and nobody herd about it the engine can be revved out to 9000 rpm for 10 minutes with no problems I forgot to mention it was balanced from hondas Performance team for each rod assembly is balanced with each outher one to the 100th of a gram it has a balance shaft that eliminates the engine vibrations from 0 rpm to 9000 rpm but the engines are limited from factory to 6000 rpm 30% from their full potential and thay are torq monster's but the honda/Acura legends will just be forgotten except for the nsx c30a and c32b because those engines are in the NSX has vtec is DOHC and is mid engine the legends have the same parts but are SOHC and FWD and is longitudinal not transverse like all hondas except the s2000
2 days after picking up my '91 R32 gts-t type M i had someone offering me 5k over, i just pointed em to the import dealer. They got fairlady z32s and gts/gtrs for bout 18k-23k

I paid way too much for a 92 vr4 with a full 99 conversion. (has a lot of rust underneath) but minus that, the 99 parts, engine and trans can help me break even. I'm planning to fix the rust though.
