You make the most amazing videos, Päivi. The painting with coloured pencil one above has got to be my favourite. I loved to hear this from you: "Your inner world is endless as soon as you go beyond the conventional." That also applies to any form of imaginative self-expression, or intuitive skills and mediumship.

Dear Paevi, I absolutely love your art. And what you said in the second half of this video was exactly what has put me off the coloured pencils for a while. Your abstract and emotional approach made me return to my pens and pencils. One more thing: In this video you have shared how create a kind of smaller pieces before summoning all together. The pencils are a slow medium. Its so easy to loose truck. Thank you for sharing with us. ❤

I really like the way you use negative space. And the colors you mix together.
I love what you create, it's a way of painting I am looking for. Usually I am drawing photo realism, but I find it more and more draining and since my partner died a few months ago I can't get it touch with it at all. So I switched to Neurographic drawing and Zentangle, just to calm me down. This kind of drawing/painting is something I'll try. I think what a lot of Artists lose (including me) is to draw with the imagination and freedom of a child and I am going on a journey to re-kindle that spirit.

Or do you also make artwork with watercolor pencils and water? Hope you will answer me, it would be a great help. Greetings all the way from the Netherlands. 😊
Thank you for your comment! I am used mostly regular colored pencils for this piece. In general, yes, I use watercolor pencils dry too.
