I got my case a couple days ago. Follow the video for installation, and you shouldn’t have any problems. Once the leather is on, and the phone in the case it has a solid feel. Love how the edges and buttons feel.
Using this case for a year now. Took it off 3 times after i put it on when i received it. The case is so tightly fit that its a struggle to take it off. Shock absorbtion is so good i forgot to worry when my phone gets literally thrown to the ground. The back skin (mahogany) shows some wear, but apart from some scratches its still as bright and rich in color. I had also used dbrand glass. The glass fits 99% perfectly with the case. Both complement each other. The glass doesnt take away the “glassy” feeling of a real screen glass. Its like there is no glass. After one year of use the glass isnt even slightly scratched.
The grip was re formulated with laser to make the grip last longer than the last model of cases. I had for over a year and it's not wearing down at all . Just ordered the triple black icon skins for the s23 already had the red one for a year and that too is solid I'm just replacing it for the shits but it doesn't need another skin tbh or another case still sturdy 💯
Thanks for the video, bro. I think I will get this for my S23 Ultra. I was originally wondering if I should get brown leather but I like tan as well. Appreciate the verse at the end.
Great review! My iPhone SE just broke after a good lifespan so I'm about to pick up the iPhone 12 Mini and I plan on getting this case with the black leather finish. You are very underrated, my friend. I hope your content soon achieves the following it deserves!
How does the leather feel in terms of grip? I only got the d brand case for the side grip, and have the black Matt grip which is not very grippy. How is the leather in that aspect? Thanks
Regarding the drop angle…impossible with the geometry of the case for the screen to touch the “ground” as long as it’s flat hard surface, not gravel or something, which would make sides negligible.
Holds up great so far! I wish I could send you a pic but the leather is a much darker brown now. The rubber frame however is top notch. Still in perfect condition and feels quality. For an easy to clean skin skip the leather but otherwise I am so happy with this
@@jordanintheknow it does. I’m going to go with the tan. Do you have an affiliate link or promo code with brand I can use? You video helped me out so I want to return the favour.
While I do appreciate you asking unfortunately I do not at this moment. For now I say go on ahead and pick it up! I hope you do end up liking it. Im still using this case as I am typing this comment and it has held up great. Don’t see a reason to swap it out for the foreseeable future unless I want to review something else!
Yeah. Dbrand grip is S tier. Just a shame it took me purchasing 20 cases and not quite being satisfied with any of them before I got to this one. But hey, now i know. When I get my next phone it’s straight to dbrand
That case is good but its wayyy too grippy, sometimes its difficult taking it out of the pocket cause it will grip to the cloth inside the pocket and will also collect a lot of lint as well. But its still good I guess. Also another problem is that you can't really have a leather skin on the phone and use the case cause the case's snug fit will destroy the skin on the phone.
Just ordered the Grip and have to say I’m a little annoyed to see that it has a back cover. It’s too hard to tell on their site. The original Grip was my all-time favorite case as a true bumper vs. full case.
There is no hidden code. Or it’s hidden too well for my colorblind ass to find it. I rewatched the whole thing twice looking at every frame. I think it was just a clever ruse to get more views.😢

The edges and buttons are perfect. I'm still using the case now and have no issues yet. That leather feel never gets old

Appreciate the feedback on the leather since I was debating it for myself too. Great vid!
Thank you =)
Great video, my man! Keep up the great work!
Thank you my friend glad you enjoyed :)

Dbrand makes such a good cases and skins! I need some of their stuff!!!!!
I'm surprised how nice the grip case is and leather turned out to be as good as I expected. Good stuff here :)
I ordered the MkbHD icons skin and so far I'm loving it
Does the leather skin help with grip?

What tan colour is this
So the skin goes on the case and not the phone… good to know. Got the sea foam green one
Yessir! Nice if you want to swap it out when new skins come out. Sea Foam looks so good though I've been thinking of getting it myself 😎
They have two types.. skin which goes on phone and case which also has skin for it. So you can have both. With or without case
hows it holding up? still using it? debating getting this because i just want the grippiest possible skin for the back of the phone

nice installation guide !
Thank you my friend, hope it helped!
is this the brown or tan?
It starts off as tan and then overtime the “patina” starts to set in to get that darker brown color. I hope that makes sense my friend!
