These tie silks are SO beautiful. I just want to stroke them! Some are so thin and fine, some have woven patterns and are luscious! LOVE< LOVE!
My project last year. I have about six thousand ties. I love them ALL!!

Wonderful video Alex. Sound is much better on my end now. ❤❤ your hearts Alex. Oh just letting you know Alex. I've had my major surgery on my carotid artery. Tumor is now removed. I have a ten inch surgery cut. From middle of my left ear to my shoulder. Sutures self dissolving. Unfortunately I've had a cardiac arrhythmia that needs to be sorted out by my cardiologist. Do not plan on making this tie quilt---Maybe some strips of Dupioni fabric to seperate the heart blocks and squares in between-----Varene
With respect to you using small pieced bits of tie fabric to fill in any gaps, people in the future will say that you were thrifty and practical, not poor. 😊
