@@AryanRaj-pg2ly before miniature paintings, manuscript paintings were done on palm leaves. The Western or Jaina school of painting also the Pala or Eastern school of painting were done on palm leaves. The leaves were first treated and then painted on. That is the reason that we don't have many manuscript paintings left, because of course, they are fragile and easy to store for long periods of time.

see, jo painting ke chapters hai hamari book mein wo short mein hai. bahut zyada explanation nahi hai aur sirf ek tareeke se zyadaatar information ko short form mein diya hai. agar aap book padhenge aur highlight karenge to aapko realise hoga ki saari lines important hai aur koi bhi point miss nahi kiya ja sakta tha

Yes, this chapter is not mentioned in the syllabus but it is a very important chapter. Firstly, because it is the introduction chapter, secondly for CUET exam, thirdly questions can come in exam from this chapter. So, it is better to be prepared beforehand.
