I moved out a month ago and now i have a room for me 20 qm and share a kitchen and two bathroom with 5 other guys.
Its very cool because i have my own rule and its freedom that i need.
The only annoying thing is that i eat the money.

Isabel 1600 if you know korean language, i recommend you use the application called '직방'
How does the bathroom work out? Like wouldn't you get all your stuff wet? What is you forget to shut the toilet seat? IM SO CONFUSED!!!!!
Baby Blue Carlz yeah you basically get everything wet. most Koreans rinse their bathroom with water while in shower. i usually keep my clothes outside of the bathroom door
Baby Blue... the bathroom is always wet. You use plastic bathroom slippers when you enter your bathroom. When you take a shower, just lift the toilet seat to keep it from getting wet. The toilet roll is protected by a stainless steel cover. You will only store bathroom things in the bathroom - in the little cupboard. There is a mirror, too. And an extractor fan.
isn't that uncomfortable? don't baths start to mold after being wet all the time?
+Kaito There is a lot of problems with mold, and one has to take great care to avoid it. I usually leave the bathroom window slightly ajar all day, even in winter. Sometimes I keep the extractor fan going all day. I also often use the dehumidifying function of the aircon. If one doesn't fight the mold, it will definitely fight you!

An apartment / villa that size in Los Angeles would be $1,500 USD you’re only paying like $100 that’s a steal!!!!!!

Oh- well the apartment is 500- but my work would give me a housing allowance of 400- so that's why I only had to actually pay 100 :) But yeah overall this is a super cheap apartment. However- it's also because it was in Daejeon- not a super huge city like Seoul. Where this size apartment would probably be well over 2000 ;; - ;;

sabes, que la verdad estuvi con tanto suerte- yo solamente me muede desde el segundo piso de la villa hasta el quinto piso. Ademas, la villa en donde yo vivo no hay nada de deposito. Pero si en corea los depositos para apartamentos son super caros U_U (bueno si puedes encontrar uno con bajo deposito pero eso es con suerte and alot of searching)

to get accepted under the epik program do you need to major in English or teaching or is a bachelor's degree in something else with the english class suggested on the epik website an okay way to go?
just a bachelors degree- and a celta/tefl/tesol 120hr certificate is good (and I believe the requirement is a bit different if you want to be placed in Busan)

How soon after graduating from college were you able to get into the epik program? I'm a senior in high school and I'm going to major in education and minor in English, and I really wanna teach in Korea first.
Sorry, EPIK requires a bachelor's degree. However, there's also the TaLK program, which is more flexible. Because so many people are applying as teachers in Korea these days, it's competitive (at least for the bigger cities), so your degree is what sets you apart. Take a look here to find out more. (Also, good luck - you can do it!)

Get your education first. Youll be better / more qualified to teach the kids. It's better for the students that you're more experienced.

Nice apartment, I like the angles! Two things for you to know: 1. Ginger ale is easy to get in Korea now (not in the past). Lots of convenience stores have Schweppes and GMarket has Canada Dry. 2. Shoe racks are also easy to find at Lotte or Homeplus department stores or GMarket for delivery. Thought you might want to know so you can get all the ginger ale you need and in case you want to change the shoe rack in the future.
