You have pretty decor style. I like the glass amber pumpkins with the candle inside so warm and cozy. I am glad you are feeling much better . I also liked the brown pumpkin what a beautiful find. I moved to Florida from Georgia and i tell you the summers here are not the same it rains so much and so much flooding the heat is intense cant be outdoors too long it was notlike this years ago. Summers were being outdoors beach and fun. I pray for everyone who has had too cope and survived all these storms. Im on the east side of Florida and we had a lot of wind the outer bands brought tornadoes here that i have never seen down here before. Waterspouts yes. These tornadoes were the type you see in Georgia and tornado allie it was very scary. I was working at the time near Weston where 2 tornadoes struck in Broward county. We closed and left. After Milton passed we had one sunny day and now back to down pours. I have not been able to finish decorating outside for Autumn. Listen stay strong and healthy and we will get through all of this. I am thankful we have Ron DeSantis as our Governor what a leader he is amazing. Sorry for the long response.

When Cory and I saw that Milton was on it's way toward Florida and was proceeded by what, over 20 + tornadoes? We were beside ourselves. We are so happy to hear you made it through but I bet you were scared crazy. Mother Nature is a force for sure. Your Governor is a gem and we even thought about moving there before we landed on Tennessee. In California we were lucky to get one good rain storm a year. We had family not only in the path of Helene but also Milton in Florida. I applaud your deep feeling for the people harmed physically and emotionally by these storms. Our prayers go out to them all. In spite of these events, you have decorated your home beautifully, it is such an inspiration. On a personal note, would you be willing to share the vendor you purchased the gorgeous painting that you brought down from your office. I have been searching for a beautiful piece of art for our recently remodeled living/dining room. It too was damaged in a storm this past February that sent a 50 year old tree not only through our roof but all the way through our ceiling. This allowed the heavy rain into the room also. We are finally to the decor stage and I am looking for a vendor that has beautiful art. God bless you and Cory.

They have beautiful art and other amazing pieces. Very kind staff as well. You might try calling to see if they can help you out. I got ours for a steal after talking them down a bit on the price. Jennifer I totally understand the emotions you are going through as you see all the devastation around you. We live in the Midwest and I shed tears with you. I can't imagine going thru something so very devastating. You know we enjoy our beautiful things...being creative and just making a home. But one day it could be gone in a blink of an eye. Everything we have labored for could be gone. Not to mention The people that we love or come across in our daily lives. We go along our merry way and then we are reminded that can not trust in things. And for those who believe we run back to our Father in Heaven. We find our shelter there. We remember we are not an island. We need each other. And we need God. Do we always understand the how's and the why's? No but we know who to go to. With our questions. With our grief. With our needs. The Scripture say if you ask your earthly father for a piece of bread would he give you a stone? What more would your Heavenly Father give you if you ask of Him. We are His children. It's funny you mentioned having people staying with us, because we discussed just that. We've been donating to a local church here who has a way to get the needed supplies to the affected areas. So much destruction. And the animals as well. We love animals and made sure to think of them in our donations as well.
