I've had the 2020 model for 3 months (super delayed because of corona) and I love it. Was one year early to get the slipper clutch though :(

I have a 2021 and still no slipper clutch we should have got the 2022
@@michaelfife5022 yeah, but I don't like the shiny red fender in the 2022 model though, if all the red was a matte finish, I think it would look and match better. I like how our models have the matte black fender with the matte black radiator cowls. I have a red tank even though I think the matte blue version looks better, but I just love dark red and black together.
Thought it was late but i guess that was worth the wait. ❤

So Mr.Ankit is 6 ft tall , And talking about the pillion if the pillion is of same height then it will be bit uncomfortable for him, if shorter then both can easy enjoy ride on this machine!

Will it be a good beginner motorcycle? For someone who rides scooter and planning to upgrade to a bike.
Absolutely, its a really good motorcycle for a beginner, Most probably in January BS6 variant will get launched so you can take test ride of this bike. ☺
HONDA CB300R BS6 2022 Suspension setup comprising gold anodized USD front forks is ok, but is not manufactured by "SHOWA" any more. that Old model Suspension was procured from "SHOWA". This is very important point to be noted about this premium entry level sport café bike which cost you Ex-Showroom 2.77 lakhs now instead of 2.41. BIG COMPROMISE IN TYRE ALSO...
Bhai not just that they even messed up exhaust sound and a big compromise on switch quality another one is messed up gear ratio…currently front usd suspension is manufactured by endurance it’s written inside..I dropped the idea to buy this…very dissatisfied

First off great review! I see that he had the Ninja before but he chose to still get the CB300 R. I am curious to know his reasoning of why CB300 over the Ninja 300. It might help me in my decision as I am really inclined toward the Ninja 300.
So the one is a detailed one from the owner himself :
Both are totally different segment
But i feel that Anyday ninja over honda cb300r
First the heart - ninja have parallel twin engine which is more fun to ride due to the refinement the engine have n better acceleration ,
The ergonomics are better,
And rest the list goes on n on
As the cb (where you dont want to stretch the budget fatly but want the same reliability is best option)
If you are looking for a daily fun commuter & a tourer machine then cb is what suit you, with racing dna from his elder brothers, the cb have gr8 punch in it, the engine revs to the top without breaking a sweat , the brakes have better bite,
Stability in corners are amazing , traffic maneuvering is child play with it. Major cons- headlamp & pillion seat - both need major work
For single rider its a gr8 machine, which can took you to anywhere the physical condition of humanity allow.
Now i haven't got the chance to took it on a long trip yet but
I did few with ninja - like hitting more then 1k km under 16hrs where i pushed ninja to its limits
And it did impressed me. I just love the engine,
i feel ninja will outperform cb300 in every aspect,
My ninja got totaled in an accident where time was not in my favour

I am confused between honda cb300 R and Bmw g310 R?? Which one is better according to you?
I would choose Honda and thats because it will cost a bit less plus aftersales will also cost less. And Honda is a really good choice. 👍 So thats my personal opinion
Thanks for the info. Can you please let me know if the rider's heigh causes any discomfort during the ride ? can a 6 feet 2 inch guy ride this bike comfortably in city and short out of city trips, say one day trips like 200 kms
Thanks for sharing your concern! Well yes you might feel packed as the bike is compact in length. The owner himself is 6 feet and he feel that the space on the rider seat is not enough for tall rider but I would say you should check it by your self everyone has their own perspective. Otherwise it is a very good machine.

Requirements : Light weight , highly reliable , comfortable for 6 feet 2 inch height person. around 300 cc . Bike should not heat up in city traffic . I live in bangalore so this is very important. Can you suggest few bikes which i should be considering
@bhanuprakash7440 I would say you can go for a adventure bike as per your height KTM ADV 250 can be a good option. For daily commuting CB300F is another option and also a good tourer. Triumph Scrambler is about to Launch that would be a perfect solution for your need.

There's big speedo error. Max its around 150 kmph
165 to 170 on speedo. Minus 10 gps
This one does 155 - 160 max.. cruising speed ~ @100kmph

Bro what's the mileage and what is the full distance range (in Kms) for a full tank as it is only a 9.7L tank.

@@krishanthvelumohan9699 ohh so sorry didnt knew that, So the owner told us that the motorcycle returned him an average of 30-32 Kmpl in the city and for the highway rides expect around 35 Kmpl but depends how you ride it!

Honda has a different level of engineering, the engine is way more refined than the KTM.

1. Considering highway trips at a speed of 100 kmph, do you feel that the bike is slightly lighter/should have been a little heavier than 143kg?
2. Does the engine run as hot as a KTM?

1. We have discussed the same with the owner, well he doesn't felt that way, Honda just got the things right, light weight of the bike helped a lot when we talk about overall trip less fatigue when doing a long trip more control on bike, easy to maneuver in traffic as well.
2. Honda machines doesn't know about this term engine heating, you ride it in the traffic whole day, do long stretch on highway the heat bar in the wont even go more than 3 pointers. On the other hand due to agressive nature of KTM it has a lot heating issue.

Waited a long time for this bike, but really disappointed with the bs6 pricing. It’s just way too much, I get it they give quality hardware, but still should have brought it down to 2.8ish on road and I would have gone for it.
Price was always the down side for this motorcycle, But this time its cheaper compared to BS4 version as it is manufactured in India now!

Suspension will be awesome in smooth roads with sharp handling and control in smooth twisty roads.
But how does it performs in bad broken roads @ slow speed & @ High speeds (when we suddenly hit a potholes ) / highway undulations?
The suspension travel was very less for both front and rear.
Does it offer soft comfort (like FZS 150 , FZS 25, Bmw g310 R - all these are naked bikes as CB 300R)?
Or a hard bone jarring ride quality during potholes & bumps crossing?
Also make a ride review for the upcoming BS6 model. Because nobody tells details about whether it will offer a soft comfortable ride quality on bad roads. Thanks in advance.

@@vetrivela3810 Bike suspension is on much smoother side -doesn't matter what terrain you are riding on , even on huge bumps on off-road ! These shockers are capable of handling high speeds unexpected bumps /potholes, Giving the rider the much needed controlled feedback to handlebars which leads to minor fatigues in long rides!!

Well Honda is planning to launch the BS6 variant of this motorcycle in January and pricing of this bike is expected to be somewhere around 2.50 - 2.75 Lakh Ex-showroom.

Boom boom Ankit bhai 🌹🌹🌹but due to light weight and power to weight ratio thik hain nimble hain fast hain hasiat rakhta tha long stroke hain 160 touch karwa dega magar light weight hain bhai mereko ek baat batao I personally own Royal Enfield 350 Classic ek cruiser hain and it weighs approximately 200 kgs aur do u think if I go with this bike do u think will it be a sensible thought I mean market pe Huqsvarna bhi hain KTM bhi hain Bajaj Pulsar 250 NS hain ha engine refinement is a talk but if I go for the raw power batao bhai aur aap yehi bataye being a Kawasaki Ninja owner and migrating from that beast to this small tiny whiney refined sheer breezey engine is a value for power if you take into consideration only power to manuever 🙏🌹bolo bhai
If you want complete raw power you can proceed with the ktm anyday but with the new model launchs surfaces the new problems like engine sezie at just 90km of odo and bike not starting even the new ones - well ktm can give you some solutions but you are not in a place to accept the solution every time for new problem , it will get frustrating soon plus you can't plan the ktm very long term. There are fellow riders who won't agree with it will keep this topic for someday else - now with honda Japanese you eliminate such problems - particularly this machine is your ready to adventure I have done few offroads with it, some touring and loved every single thing about it - given the importance to the point of power to weight ration is actually a major thing which helped quite well in mountains specially at slushy areas where you are packed with your panniers and bags. Naked bikes universally comes with wind blast at certain speeds and this no different but stretching 400km above in a single run on this machine didn't make me feel tired which allowed me to stretch further and enjoy it aswell where weight managment by honda helped a lot . If your switching from re 350 to this you will receive an engine which punches power whenever demanded still if you put all the refinement, low end torque etc a side this bike is very very affordable to pocket in terms of service , fuel etc which is almost negligible. A bike which this premium and so easy to maintain and can stick with you through all life without much of hassle what else you can expect in the market of India which is mostly cost driven.
Only drawback
Fuel tank is bit small in capacity
Pillion is not very comfortable in longer stretches
Ninja 300 is better in all terms but there you miss the fun of going into offroads without worrying about your headers which usually corrodes and dust settling in inside parts are very hard to clean,
Apart from this the plastic can buzz out, and putting ninja into such positions might not be a very great idea but 300 400 segments are the best playful machines these days so it's totally up to you
Wherever the cost comes with ninja is still on higher side even the bike have shifted completely to Indian manufacturing . where my ninja was a cbu so I feel today having the taste of both (my ninja n new ninja 300) there's been quality compromises, still the headlight is not very bright in 300 , the engine is great and last Long - I have bought this because I just kinda liked the cb and instantly felt a place for it in my garage as another kinda rare addition. that time honda have introduced only some 800 units all over India and it was one of them.

That would be custom made, there is no company accessory for this.
Is it comfortable for a short rider?
Yes it is! You will not feel this as a tall bike!

Its better than KTM in terms of engineering , refinement and reliability!

Mud guard के पास. सारा का सारा प्लास्टिक दे रहे हैं.. इनमे से किसी पर बात नहीं की लगता है कि Honda वालों ने पैसे दिए हैं
Cafe racer concept mai 2 logo ka thoda mushkil rehta hai bethna! Mostly youngsters can still manage but family bike bilkul nhi hai. 2 bache to sir kisi bhi bike p nhi bithana chaheye, and built quality jo hai bike ki top notch hai, isme vibrations bilkul bhi nhi hai plastic use ki wajah se hi bike ka weight bhi 147 kgs tk hua hai jo hi city k lie kafi acha hai.

Thank you soo much for your reply, what I would like to say is and what we should keep in mind is rather driving recklessly on the city roads where there is traffic and some guys still revving hard their engine trying to be cool that can obviously lead to accident. But if you actually want to test something though we don't recommend it but on highway you can check the potential of your motorcycle and that's obvious we don't keep the bike on 170kmph continuously right.
Bewakoof are the people who cause accidents even if the rider keeps the speed under limit!
