Thanks for watching. To clear the error, enter the diagnostics mode and turn the dial to see the stored error. While in the error checking mode, press and hold start button and button to the left of the start for a few seconds. This will clear the error from memory but will return if the problem has not been rectified.
Hi, we have this washing machine and the display panel intemittently switches on and off. If we turn the dial to the left position (dry), the lcd panel is blank, if we turn the dial to the right (off position) and then to the left again the lcd panel lights up but with nothing displayed, basically nothing is displayed on the panel (just the light comes on). We can then turn the dial to any position and the led stays lit, but with no text displayed. Then after trying to reset or do this a few times the machine lcd display randomly starts working. Then if you switch the machine off, you have to start thois entire process from scratch again. Sometimes if you leave the machine on for a few hours the display wil randomly come to life! it displayed an e42 fault once we got it to work, but doesn't seem to be any problem with the door. Have tried hard resets as you have shown and the m/c is unresponsive. Any ideas what the problem / fix might be. Many thanks
Recently was given a machine that k was told was dead but worked intermittently. From a little trolling around online and a bit of trial.and error I've noticed that the machine has a warm up phase. Select the cycle you want with the knob then leave it for a bit and it should come to life. It's a strange one but it seems a little more consistent
Hello! I'm going maaad! I got a Time Manager 7kg Eco Wash System secondhand. Sometimes it doesn't seem to want to finish a load - so it won't drain. I just tried your process above but it just went into wash mode again. I also have a lot less buttons than your machine above... do you have any tips for me or could you recommend a place to get further help?
Hey, Turn the machine off at the power point for a few min and then try to retrieve the fault code from the machines memory. Also, Check the drain pump filter.
Hi, tried to follow your instructions multiple times and I receive an error on the screen but no number or prefix that may to a diagnosis. Went through the links to faults and could not find anything with just an error.
@@ApplianceFault it displayed ERR... to give you some more background information this all happened after I drained and cleaned the pump filter. I re-opened the filter thinking something else had blocked or dislodged in there but nothing. The grey hose to the left of the filter drains well, looks to be kink-free too
Err appears when the machine is in a cycle and the dial is turned. Did you turn the dial to the off position? If you did, try turning dial to off position and unplug the machine from power point for a few minutes and then try again.
@@ApplianceFault thanks for your reply, I finally fixed it. Drained the pump again, checked all hose attachments, turned the machine back on. It worked. Don't know exactly what went wrong but I'm now doing a 2nd load and back to normal. Thanks again for your prompt reply and advice

Iv got e38 and won’t spin but the drum moves freely I’m assuming some kind of belt it gears issue

Most likely it will be the motor brushes that are worn out.

Bad wiring, motor or control board. You will need a multimeter to check the motor.
Are you able to rotate the drum freely by hand?
