I've noticed virtually all tutorials of this pattern illustrate some flavor of olive. Is there any other prominent colors which seem to carry a confident following?
Hi Eric, that makes sense considering the WD-40 is a popular Blue Wing Olive emerger imitation. However, the color can certainly be altered to match other bugs. Try tying a few up in black or grey.
