What the heeeeck this tune is very complex, while listening it seemed straight forward, i went to check out a backing track and find this much more complex and crazy then Giant Steps.
@@DiegoARojas2009 the real book goes off the original Coltrane recording, I don't know which version this one is based off, but it doesn't sound like the original Coltrane one.
I improvise well, and others in my schools suck but they think they are the best! Who repeatedly uses major scales in a JAZZ solo? How must I cope with this. I am very shy and I am afraid to solo in front to school. I am only comfortable with friends.
Remember when you're performing jazz, you're not performing for their approval, you're performing for the love of music and if you believe in the music, then it's always right.
