Come across this mapping product as a UA-camr Adventure Motorcycle Rider was using this on his phone mounted to the handlebar. I bought the app and mapping for our off road motorcycling. Really liking it and unlike other products there are no ongoing costs to use the great offline map sets. Great work guys.👍👍
How do you enter in gps coordinates to navigate to? Ive tried in the search magnifiing glass but the coords location wont show up (tried all the places/address etc.)
Hi - you need to press the pin this opens the create place tool - simply overwrite the lat/long coordinates it captures then save. Wait for it to sync then tap the marker it creates on the map snd use navigation as with any other place.
G'day guys, I am looking for a good offroad nav system for upcoming travels with a bunch of off line travelling. If I get this app, can it be downloaded on an android device as well as an ipad on the same purchase as a multiple download?
Thanks for your question! Here's a detailed breakdown of what you'll need: App Purchase: The ExplorOz Traveller app requires a separate purchase for each platform. This means you'll need to buy it from both the Google Play Store for your Android device and the Apple App Store for your iPad. Each purchase costs $60, so that's $60 + $60 = $120. Offline Map License: The EOTopo offline map license covers multiple devices and platforms with a single purchase of $50. This means you only need to buy the map license once, and you can use it on both your Android device and iPad. In total, your initial cost will be $60 (Android app) + $60 (iOS app) + $50 (EOTopo map license) = $170. This is a one-time payment, which is quite economical compared to the ongoing costs of other navigation systems. The app purchases include lifetime use with free updates, new features, and continual improvements. The offline map license is valid for 4 years, and if you spread the $50 cost over 4 years, it works out to just $12.50 per year. This setup ensures you have a robust off-road navigation system on both your Android device and iPad, providing great value and longevity. Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or need further assistance!
Hi Michelle & David, I'm from the dad's generation, same as Colin! Could your app include HOTSPOTS for Telstra, (such as outside Gibb River Station gates where most other places are Optus only reception on that 600 kms stretch.
