Did everything come together with the Universal Stay or did you buy the cables separately? If so, could you share from where (USA? Link?). Thanks a lot for your video, I’m waiting for my XMAX 300 to be delivered and I’m wondering if I should get the Universal Stay installed by the dealership or do it myself. They may charge premium money for the service...
I ended up finding this video after trying to learn a tutorial and now none of my lights come on. The repair shop said everything is wired correctly so we can't figure it out. I contacted Yamaha and this voids the warranty so now I'm stuck with a daytime scooter.
Did you use a splitter, you should really have any issues if you are just adding a splitter. You may have knocked something loose that is not obvious and easy to see. Was it a Yamaha repair shop that you went to. If you can create a video and share it, it can be helpful
@@RiderGuy yeah but the front is all back together now and they said the splitter was put there perfectly. They can't figure it out. I'm taking L after L. I can't even pay my phone bill after this. I should've just bought a mirror mount and the USB cigarette lighter adapter and called it a day.
@@VegitoBlackityBlack that is really strange, hopefully it will be something really simple. I will search something’s as well and if I find anything that will help I will share. If it is just a splitter not sure why Yamaha would void the warranty. That’s horrible service.
I really like the video, and the configuration you have put, but I have some doubts: the connection goes in series with the glove box connector, but it only supports 12V 1A, so charging is very slow. on the other hand you can make a trip with gps connected there, without diverting your eyes too much, does it cover your watches when you put the mobile? Thank you very much
I accidentally said XMax 360, of course this is the XMax 300.
Thanks man, that very helpfull introduction. Perhaps u can and the cableing part it will be perfect
Sure thing!

@@RiderGuy The warranty doesn't cover this they said. And now the electrical stuff is voided because I tried this at home before bringing it to them.
@@RiderGuy what kind of splitter is this? I just need the splitter
Has anyone bought and installed the same set but from Aliexpress (not the OEM one)?
how much the price my friend? because in Malaysia.. we dont havw much accessories.. only for 250 not 300... please let me know yeah.. tq
This one was 100 dollars
Hiiii, you can't see anything, it's all very dark
Yes I agree, it is very easy though. If you get the splitter just remove the left panel a bit and you can plug it in.
