Our last appliance we ordered was a fridge and it’s been delayed 2 times and it’s not supposed to come until next month and we bought in February. We bought from Home Depot. Our neighbor has had the same problem too.

I spent a lot of time looking at laptops before starting my grad program, and the biggest help for me was learning the difference between RAM and SSD. They were explained to me as short term and long term memory. RAM is short term and affects what your computer can do at one time (running programs, how many tabs open, etc. and a higher amount = it can do more). SSD is long term memory and affects how much you can physically save onto your computer (documents, etc.) With that being said I got a Lenovo laptop which had high reviews, but it’s been 2 years and I’ve gone through 3 brand new laptops/replacements because I’ve continuously had problems with them and their customer service is terrible. It’s taken months of continuous contact to get a reply, if I was lucky, each time I’ve needed help. So I would personally avoid Lenovo
Happy memorial day from Georgia. Desktops all depend on if she wants to game on it or just use it for general use. If she wants one for gaming please make sure it's one that comes with some form of graphics card. Also, laptops will be easier to find a good deal on, if she's okay with one. I highly suggest you search for gaming laptops via Facebook marketplace. You can get a laptop that outperforms every system he showed today for $500-$600 if you're lucky. For $500 I got a gaming laptop with an i7 8th gen processor and 1660 graphics card. I live in northern Georgia though, so I'm not sure how your facebook marketplace would look, or if she even needs something for gaming. Good desktops with a good graphics card are expensive right now because there is a GPU shortage. Integrated graphics, like Radeon graphics will not typically let you play many games on them. If you have any questions or wondering if a pc has good parts that will be powerful enough to last or is a good enough deal, just reply to my comment.
I just recently purchased my first customizable Laptop from HP, it was a good price and I got to pick what size storage, backlit keyboard, color of laptop, and more. The ONLY problem (and it's kind of a biggie) I have with HP is that I still haven't recieved my laptop and I ordered it on April 22, 2021. I don't mind waiting a little while for my orders, but my comp didn't ship until the 25th of May... that's over a month I'm waiting for a computer over $700. I just want others to know this before they decide to purchase. The price is good, but the wait is horrendous. Good Luck.

Hey Matt. Love the channel! But…as a veteran myself and having lost my dad and 2 brothers, who all served 20+ years, it’s not a “Happy” Memorial Day. I like to think of it as a “Thankful” day. I know what you meant though. Keep up the awesome work! You’ve saved me a ton of money with this channel.
Memorial Day is not about the Memorial day sales at retail outlets. It's about remembering honoring those that served and gave there lives for the freedoms we enjoy. It's about honoring the fallen in the line of duty. It's a time to reflect on those that walked into the line of fire knowing that many of them would not make it back. And still they served with honor for this country so we could remain free.
I got a bargain at Home Depot on a Ryobi One+ 18v 6 piece combo kit with 2 batteries for only $199 a $100 savings and it came with a large duffle bag too

I have the Skil lawnmower and LOVE it. Only downfall is you have to keep bag on since it shoots the grass out of the back. If you don't it will be all over you. It even charges faster than it says. Don't let grass grow to high because it takes more battery power to cut the higher grass. Oh and it's light to push. All in all, love it!!!!!
Hi Ligia! I own an Ego battery-operated lawn mower. I originally bought it in 2017, and it works great, never had any issues with it. Was definitely worth the money. The height of the handle is very adjustable. I'm a short, 4' 11" woman, and I find the mower easy to use and very comfortable. It has just as much power as a gas mower, but you don't have to deal with the noise and the fumes. I would recommend this mower to anyone. Oh, and I also have an Ego string trimmer, which I use to trim the grass around trees and along a fence. Works awesome, and I would recommend it, too. @@ligiaearley2172 I agree! It's tough making a choice on expensive items. It's one thing to choose between two ten dollar items, but it's much harder choosing between two $500 items. All I can tell you is, do a lot of research, and read reviews from different websites. But whichever mower you choose, it will be much cheaper than paying someone to mow your lawn. I used to use a lawn mowing service. I added up the cost, and it came out to $900 per year! Even the most expensive electric mower is less than that.

I've had no problems with Best Buy customer service here in Stillwater OK... I've had a freezer stop working and they contacted the manufacturer and i received a new one. I just brought back a mini fridge that wasn't cooling in the fridge part. They ordered a new one and had it shipped to my house...

I'm surprised you never mention, unless I miss it, end of the year clearance at Walmart (or other retailers) for all kinds of grass seed and grass and garden stuff. I have been doing this every year for a long time for pennies on the dollar. I use grass seed, a year old, and it works great the next year not to mention weed killer and fertilizer.

Only needed a dehumidifier in Washington. Was in Yakima with 300 gallons of FISH tanks. Had to get a dehumidifier. Most people won’t know what that is or why it’s needed.

I don't know which one it is, but there's a model where it can have the pellets in the hopper catch fire.

Have you reviewed the battery power lawnmower? I get confused about what is best to buy.
I have the Skil lawnmower and LOVE it. Only downfall is you have to keep bag on since it shoots the grass out of the back. If you don't it will be all over you. It even charges faster than it says. Don't let grass grow to high because it takes more battery power to cut the higher grass. Oh and it's light to push. All in all, love it!!!!!

Hi Ligia! I own an Ego battery-operated lawn mower. I originally bought it in 2017, and it works great, never had any issues with it. Was definitely worth the money. The height of the handle is very adjustable. I'm a short, 4' 11" woman, and I find the mower easy to use and very comfortable. It has just as much power as a gas mower, but you don't have to deal with the noise and the fumes. I would recommend this mower to anyone. Oh, and I also have an Ego string trimmer, which I use to trim the grass around trees and along a fence. Works awesome, and I would recommend it, too. @@ligiaearley2172 I agree! It's tough making a choice on expensive items. It's one thing to choose between two ten dollar items, but it's much harder choosing between two $500 items. All I can tell you is, do a lot of research, and read reviews from different websites. But whichever mower you choose, it will be much cheaper than paying someone to mow your lawn. I used to use a lawn mowing service. I added up the cost, and it came out to $900 per year! Even the most expensive electric mower is less than that.

I've had no problems with Best Buy customer service here in Stillwater OK... I've had a freezer stop working and they contacted the manufacturer and i received a new one. I just brought back a mini fridge that wasn't cooling in the fridge part. They ordered a new one and had it shipped to my house...

I'm surprised you never mention, unless I miss it, end of the year clearance at Walmart (or other retailers) for all kinds of grass seed and grass and garden stuff. I have been doing this every year for a long time for pennies on the dollar. I use grass seed, a year old, and it works great the next year not to mention weed killer and fertilizer.
