Rick, one very important thing to consider. Dishwashers are loud! We have an open are about the size of yours and couldnt run the dishwasher if you wanted to watch TV or talk. Spend the extra on a high quality quiet one. You'll appreciate the choice!

Not sure how long ago this video was actual recorded before being uploaded.... BUT, if you don't have the drywall up yet, put insulation between your 'man cave' and the master bedroom. it'll help deaden the sound so you don't wake her up!
