My boyfriend said to me "god spoke to me" and I immediately thought he went bonkers.. But when he spoke he spoke so passionately about him and said that he has never felt love the way he felt love when he spoke with God. There is so much I could say about his experience but in all honesty I doubt everyone would believe since I personally doubted him myself at first. I just wish that maybe one day I will experience this myself. For this i pray for.

Last June Gibbs Smith, a small independent publisher, released the story, Christmas Love, as an illustrated gift book. The story has also been passed around through e-mail and on blogs, sometimes without attribution.
Except for a different first paragraph in which Mr. Walsch wrote that he could vividly remember
Mr. Walschs story was nearly identical to an essay by a writer named Candy Chand, which was originally published 10 years ago in Clarity, a spiritual magazine, and has been circulating on the Web ever since. Mr. Walsch now says he made a mistake in believing the story was something that had actually come from his personal experience.
Ms. Chand said she originally wrote the piece about her son, Nicholas, and his kindergarten winter pageant and published it in Clarity in 1999.
During a dress rehearsal, he wrote, a group of children spelled out the title of a song, Christmas Love, with each child holding up a letter. One girl held the m upside down, so that it appeared as a w, and it looked as if the group was spelling Christ Was Love. It was a heartwarming Christmas story from a writer known for his spiritual teachings.
Except it never happened - to him.

All I can say now - because I am truly mystified and taken aback by this - is that someone must have sent it to me over the Internet ten years or so ago, Mr. Walsch wrote. Finding it utterly charming and its message indelible, I must have clipped and pasted it into my file of stories to tell that have a message I want to share.
convrsations with god is the most enlightening book i have ever laid my hands on, if you want to change youre life and eliminate all of your troubles read this serious and see the emidiate improvment in the uality of your life.
Walsch does say everyone is being 'spoken to' but few choose to listen. Many of our waking hours we are busy doing. Presumably more of the moments he references as active dialogue occur when in a more reflective observant state. Our 'being' rather than doing part of the day as Jon Kabat-Zinn says. Where we aren't constantly obsessively thinking worrying projecting and reacting. What do we do or not do to help nurture those spaces in our days and in the days of others? 1:48 into this N.D.W. says it was 4:20 in the morning. What does this tell you about gods view on 420? Just My opinion. Great video.

spent 139 weeks on The New York Times hardcover nonfiction best-seller list - added that he would never deliberately copy another writers words without attributing them. Its not like Im trying to find an audience or trying to impress anybody with my writing, he said.

I feel signs and God talking to me through dreams but I am not schizophrenic like patients I see in psychiatric department. Naele and others masters made me feel I am not the only one who feels God presence :) We are all one :)

In this interview Neale says he "heard a voice" and wrote down what God said, but in the beginning of "Conversations with God" he said "the pen began moving on its own."
Which one is it? Did he write down what he heard or did the pen just start moving on its own?
I posed exactly the same question on another thread.
In video frame 3:20 Neale begins to explain that he was brought up in a religious family and in the Cath Church, but now he's going by his feelings/experiences.
"Now the Spirit (the Holy Spirit) speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart fom the faith, giving heed to DECEIVING spirits and doctrines of devils" 1 Timothy 4:1
These people obviously do not realize they are being decieved by a false light because of what they have experienced in a way that feels good to them.

Walsch is doing a good thing by being uncertain as to whether God is talking to him or not. He would be delusional if he fully believed it based on nothing. Its up to us to read it and decide for ourselves whether the book contains truths or not. And the fact is there are several key areas that you *can* test for yourself, most obviously the one where your thoughts create your reality (aka law of attraction). Through which one could attract many other truths I'm sure.
@SaveTheWheat I'm pretty sure Neale's concept as being whole with God pertains to us being equals, even with God, and connected with all, and in that sense we are One with God. And it also means we are much more powerful than is currently believed by the consensus
Alfie, We don't live in a perfect world and there is much corruption in churches I am sure, BUT---God's Word still stands TRUE! God has given you the FREE WILL to CHOOSE what you want to believe and the path you want to take. I see many people in these forums claiming that there are MANY PATHS to heaven, but the Truth is there are many paths to hell and only ONE NARROW PATH to heaven and it is only found in Jesus Christ the Savior. "Jesus" means "Savior" and He's our only hope for eternal life!

Neale says; @ approx video frame 1:42: "....somebody tell me the rules, just give me the rule book!" Neale mentions God's Word, but in the same breath he doesn't believe God's Word is the final authority. Also, @ 4:45 he says there is "...loosely, the cosmology truely SUGGESTS there is NO one true path, no one true faith, no true religion....there is no singular path...".
Jesus Christ said this: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no man comes unto the Father except by Me." John 14:6
You obviously didn't read the books enough to know that he discusses pretty thoroughly the elements of what people think are "good" or "bad".
This includes being "rich". Why do you see it as a bad thing?
it is hard to say what did and what didnt happen in history as none of us were born then. all we have are other peoples recollections misinterperated over the years. so all we are left with are opinions which is not the same things as FACTS...sooooo what we have left is PERCEPTION! the way we perceive things is not necessarily the way they happened.

@MARGARITA90001 Remember, God talks to all of us all the time through other people, animals, TV, radio, (but I don't recommend TV/radio because of low frequencies that could lower your vibrations), your "personal" insights, nature, music, healings, miracles, and countless other ways. God is talking to you all the time, and I mean constantly, but you have to tune in and really listen. This is no possible if your mind is racing or foggy. You have to relax and really listen..much is being "said"

first of all ... You are God and God is You. Your heart doesnt tell you anything, it doesnt speak, but your sences feel and you feel emotions. You have the power to choose which emotion you wish to experience and how. think about it! PEOPLE molest kids, not only preists. The priests that choose to stay celebate have misunderstood Gods truth as it is not Gods will to see us suffer.

Well that's not true because according to the book (conversations with god) we've just forgotten our own divinity (or in layman's terms, we've forgotten that we are gods too, i.e. made in the image of god). So we are "perfect" in the sense that we create what we desire, but unfortunately so far a lot of that creation has arisen from unconscious, and predominantly negative, thinking
@SaveTheWheat I agree the Universe functions the way it does regardless of if I like it or not, but are you suggesting people's choices, thoughts, opinions, emotions, imagination, creativity have no impact on the universe and their very experience of reality?
@MARGARITA90001 When you have an inspiration or a deep insight or a moment where you think 'hey maybe God's talking to me' but you're not quite sold on that intuition- your OWN intuition - stop saying maybe and start saying definitely. It's happening. It's always happened and always will all all we need to do is listen and take on the responsibility to really heed the wisdom and apply that to our lives in all ways..not as hard as it sounds. Just give in and dedicate your services to the universe

@bigguitar22 But this isn't a religion. A religion says "follow me". What walsch is saying is choose your own path, your own truth. He isn't trying to control anyone. He simply saying let go of all that negative crap because its useless. For example, your response.

You are correct when saying God does not need Neil to speak for God, however just because God does not need to speak to Neil does not mean God did not talk to Neil. You certainly don't know whether God spoke to him or not. You seem very quick to judge what you probably have not read. If you read Conversations With God Books 1, 2 and 3 you would see that God speaks Truth.
Everyone capable of thinking without speaking aloud 'hears voices' that nobody else hears. Are we to assume that everyone is insane?
Although noone can determine whether Neale really talks to god, hearing voices in your head could be a sign of developing schizophrenia. Having said that, I would welcome such symptoms. I do believe in god and there are a lot of messages he sends subliminally.

Your just not looking in the right place. Try inside. Not outside. Walsch didn't hear voices. He studied all religions and wrote the book the way he wrote it to make it intriguing. He has said that many times. But then if you knew what you were talking about you would know that.

And make sure you read the history of your bible as well. The truth is that Jesus came to give us all one message. Dont be afraid. Everything you fear is an illusion. This is how he came to divide. To bring a new message that would set those who live in fear of god to those who prefer his love. Im not saying Walsch is having a conversation with god. But you have to admit his philosophies make more sense than thinking god has a need or desire to judge and then torture anyone.
The Bible is God's inspired Word. "For the prohecy came not in any time by the will of man; but holy men spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." 2 Peter 1:21

Chance is not a thing... If God is perfect n we are not then how can we judje Him? If He is perfect then we cannot be a part of Him: simple logic. That's why so many people like to think evil is an illusion. It's a matter of the heart they choose to ignore. Oh and news-flash to any Walsch followers. He's not a Christian! Neale is an entrepreneur and very intelligent. But if you ask him if the voices are in his head or not? He couldn't tell you. Because he's been duped by the author of confusion.

@bigguitar22 Why does anyone feel their beliefs equal the truth? What I believe is based on the gnostic gospels and the letters of his brother Thomas which as far as I know is all we have. Walsch doesn't write about religion. Its simply philosophy. As far as if there is a god look into the golden ratio. If there is a design, there is a designer. Religion is just mans idea of God. Can I say I'm right for sure? No more than you can say Im wrong.

God's Word (Dueteronomy 18:10-12 and Leviticus, Isaiah, etc) warns us not seek out other ways thru spirit mediums, "ascended masters", (as some New Agers refer to them)etc, etc.because they are very deceptive and dangerous for your soul and will lead a person away from Jesus Christ and into hell. God wants us to SEEK Him and His Word out.

God talks to us all the time, but no everyone listens but when this guy talks, everyone listens. just because this guy is world wide, your gonna listen to him. i dont even understand why your getting mad, just because i believe in the bible and not this guy? everyone has their own opinions..
@SaveTheWheat umm....you are so right!! he was just recently released from a mental hospital. He developed delusions, paranoia and other crazy stuff. at one point he thought he was the second coming of Christ.

@1shibaz Finally who do you think wrote the bible, and how - wouldn't Jesus have had to have received "voices in his head"? And everything written in the bible was thousands of years ago, which you still believe verbatim..and you don't even consider that it could have been mistranslated or deliberately altered by religious figures who wanted to gain more power? So if the bible is so perfect, why are there hundreds of different interpretations, and so many different denominations? WHO IS RIGHT?

@carver555 You don't have the time or the evidence to educate me on anything. You say prove he is talking to God. Well I don't think he is but prove he isn't. Why Walsch? Why Jacob? Why Noah? There is ONLY ONE WAY to GOD and that is through His son, JESUS CHRIST, dying on the cross so, that our sins could be forgiven! Whoever believes this and asks JESUS CHRIST to forgive them of their sins and invite JESUS CHRIST to be the LORD of their lives...WILL BE SAVED!!

@bigguitar22 Dont be ridiculous. God didn't create religion. Man created religion and claimed his individual right to gods word. There are many interviews where walsch openly states that his books are the product of massive amounts of research into theology. Do your research and you'll find them. Claiming to hear voices and all that nonsense is just a matter of entertainment.
I do not know, but some how feel that I do not like this man. To me, he controls his real character and he is trying toooooo hard to make himself to people look nice and good and poised. It is called MANIPULATION.
Please remove the Neale Donald video & separate it from EV Hill's. It is not respectful to mingle a secular multi-theist with such a Christian giant as Rev. Hill & the memory of his wife.

I believe in Christ. i know who wrote the bible, it says so in the bible. you have to read the bible to know the real answers.. you cant just stare at it and wait for things to happen. WHY do you believe THIS GUY? how do you know what hes saying is true? even though the bible was made a long time ago, im pretty sure i can trust it better than this guy. i know my facts and i know the bible.

Mr, Walsch, I talk to God all the time and he talks to me. Also, he already gave me a book. It is called the Bible. Your book is not biblical, Who and what gives you the right to judge and debunki other people;s beliefs or paths they have chosen. After all you yourself said that there is no right and wrong, good or bad etc, Yet you turn around and give us several lists of things that we should not do, Why? If everything is God;s will and everyone has free choice; who are YOU to try and change everything. Also, you assume that you speak for everyone and that all the questions and answers apply to everyone. YOU do not speak for me.

But , I visit now just in time : there are many christians around the world who critizes him and judge him !! mmmhh ... Jesus don't teached to do so in this way. Sometimes it smells for me that a few Believers are envious of this man = cause he really goes for it, without any doubt. Walsch is selling books and he's very eloquent but that doesn't mean the message has any credibility or can be objectified as truth. Walsch is talking about god - any fool would agree. My fundamental objection is that Walsch claims to have spoken to god yet he provides no evidence. However sincere his views(and yours) doesn't make them true. Millions of people are listening but dont hear god. Why Walsch?
