Ir premiered live in July 2011 but it wasn't released officially until January 2013. Probably because it's pretty much straight forward power metal (and it's awesome!). Yea man, this is an anti bullying classic BM song ending live concerts such recently at Sabaton's Europe Tour as well the Asian and Australian Tour, probably will be the ender for the rest of the year, everyone loves IDZ (you got it right with the pronunciation the first time). Another version you shouldn't miss is the one with the original trio such live at Sonisphere Festival 2014, live at Tokyo Dome 2016 and many more. Honestly this live compilation is stealing views from the original official promotion clip, i get it when there's a live version that is not available to watch unless you got the DVD/BD but this one isn't the case, that's why i kindly suggest you to check it out that one. not only is this a song about anti-bullying, but it also calls out those who allow it and do nothing. I think it was IDZ (only song i recall with a choreo-fight) back in 2015 where Yui actually jumps over Moa during one of the "fight" scenes.

This was one of their earliest songs - only the second song they ever played live back in 2011 ... but the release was held back for a bit until after 'Iine', possibly because this one is relatively straight power metal and Koba didn't want them to be pigeonholed. There are so many great performances of IDZ - you will be told you should have reacted to Sonisphere 2014, but other excellent versions of note include Saitama Super Arena in 2015, Tokyo Dome 2016 and Legend Metal Galaxy in 2020 ... no reason why you shouldn't do reactions to all of them of course. I don't know if you looked up the translation for the lyrics as well as the title (or you could have had the subtitles on for this video), but they are even more powerful than the song title.🤘🦊🤘
FYI, one of the cutest things on UA-cam is the Moa Stomp compilation: Moa stomps her foot when doing this song, in a way that Yui and the Avengers don't. The metal spirit in her is too great to contain 😎

The phrase "Dame Zettai (= No absolutely)" is originated from police campaign against illegal drugs which had started in 1960s. So this song implies that "Ijime (= bullying)" is considered as harmful and addictive as illegal drugs. We have to continue our efforts at home and in school (and in any society or organization or group in the world) to eliminate it. BM has performed IDZ since they revived it on Jan.26, 2020. It was probably their message to the current world.
Nice reaction. Best anti bullying song ever. The lyrics go deep on this and really can hit you right in the feels. This from the 10 years of Babymetal at the Budokan. Little did we know Momoko would become an official member at that time. But I hoped she would. Momoko fit right with them even then. She even almost fell off the stage during one of the ten shows. Now Momoko is even more in synch with them. Momoko has shown such great growth in the last couple of years. Being friends with Su and Moa I guess will do that to you. Su is a perfectionist. And that rubbed off on Moa over the years for sure. But Moa will be Moa and it's her small imperfections that make her perfect. And they had a great time performing together for these shows. When you think that this was the start of the lockdowns for covid. Babymetal was very happy to get these shows in before the venues closed. On their tour now Su seems like she is having a hard time not smiling. The grin on her face being on stage again shows how glad she is to be back in their Metal Kingdom. The stage in front of a live audience. And Rumor has it that they will be releasing another song later this August with Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine. He said he wanted to do this for a long time. Tom has been a fan of Babymetal for a long time too. The song is called Metal from what I understand. Should be fun. Another collaboration by Babymetal. Does this mean a new album isn't far behind? Could we get two in one year? Or even back to back years. This would be unheard of for Babymetal. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises.
