    Passive components i.e. capacitors, resistors, etc. are relatively easy to find substitutes for. It’s active components like transistors, regulators, and op amps that are more difficult to find.

    This was really cool, and thanks for the vid! I was really hoping you’d offer strats for finding alternative transistors, cause that’s often the most difficult stuff I run into, as it’s hard for me to determine which of the main specs are most important.
