Daylight Soundtrack - Tracks 1, 2, 3

- This is the score for the movie "Daylight".
This score was composed by Randy Edelman in 1996.
Tracks 1, 2, 3
1. Daylight
2. Latura's Theme
3. Searching For A Miracle
This is another example of Randy Edelman at his best for this score to the 1996 action movie Daylight. It is really hard to pick just 1 track that i like the best so it will have to be three and they are track 1 track 2 & track 7

I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING
I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE MUSIC
I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE PICTURES
Love this movie, I heard Stallone ask pardon to his fans for making it. What the hell is this guy talking about? Daylight is one of his finest movies!
Stallone tooks my soul in this movie, and not in any other! music is so damn near of my soul
Yeah I have no idea what he's talking about either, I think this movie is amazing! It's just so much better than any other disaster movie which are usually cheesy and eye roll worthy.
It's too bad that Stallone is ashamed of Daylight; it's an excellent flick that was, and remains, sorely underrated. I remember seeing him talking it up in promos in 1996-97 when it was released and he was promoting it, and I thought his comments were spot on. The fact that he "apologized" for it later is disappointing.
I’ve always loved this movie. I can’t understand why Stallone hates it.
love this movie
One of the best movie Stallone played. Soundtrack awesome..👌
When action movies were all about characters humanity and heroic values on top of the spectacle with no superpowers bullcrap. Old school action movie up there with Cliffhanger. Glad to say I watched it in a packed theater back in 1996.
5:23 is my favourite part of the soundtrack.
RIP Sage Stallone
6:41 - One of my all time best movie soundtracks.
Daylight is a true 90s Sylvester Stallone classic 🙂. The music score is phenomenal by Randy Edelman , who did the music theme and score for MacGyver .
I'm crying thinking my childhood watching this movie.. long life to you Sylvester ❤️
This movie was my childhood and watched it countless times even before i was 12 lol
Long Life to Him (raises his mug)
me too :) great movie
I was 16 in 1996
@@DrEvil-sd9nu your 42 now
People are bloody stupid.. This movie ruled so hard and still does.
Most epic and nostalgic soundtrack ever! This is a masterpiece 💖 Perfect for the movie.
Daylight and
Copland Stallones acting is so different than the action parts and I like it! He is good at what he does,no doubt about that he's worth the Oscar he did not get.
I love the song at 6:50 every-time.
megafoxdrone especially remembering when it first played in the movie in the scene where Latura (Sylvester Stallone) was making his way into the New Jersey tunnel via the wind fans and the air suction room where he blew the hatch with dynamite. That’s where it started playing. And the name of the song on the track at 6:50 here in the video is called Searching For a Miracle :)
One of the best things I've heard in a movie for sure!
heroic moment for sly
i still get the same feeling i got when i was a kid. Goosebumps everytime
the best film of stallone
What really got my attention for this movie was the music. It mad the movie even more great than it is.
This movie is very underrated and i never understood why critics slaughtered it.
Idiots.
Stallone did great, director did great and so did the cast. Now the music is just awesome.
The last 2 minutes of this score is really everything i just dont feel anymore when watching modern day movies
Chapters:
00:00:00 Daylight
00:03:33 Latura's Theme
00:06:39 Searching For A Miracle
Thanks for the info.
@@richtrm3177 my neck.... I think it's broken
Latura's theme is one of the greatest movie themes ever !!
This movie is inspiring especially in times like now. The noble cause of saving lives is always in demand.
Underrated movie and very underrated score
One of his best performances ever and one of the best soundtracks out there.Kit Latura is right at the top with Rocky and Rambo in my book. The closest character to the real heroes out there ! Great job !
excellent and incredibly underrated score, from a criminally underrated movie
I remember when this movie came out. It was such an event form me. Stallone was still the household name, I was 11 years old, and loved it so much. I still do, and must agree that this is very underrated movie. I always compare it to the Cliffhanger as a two of Stallone's "rescue type films".
PS: I remember the scene where he just hangs on one hand below the ceiling that was so exciting to watch! Good times!
6:50 is a master piece of hope, never forget this
Me too
"I'll never leave anyone alone no more!".In the name of Christ.Amen.
Amen
i just can`t get anough of this movie and this soundtrack, i just LOVE it and love everything about it, speciely SLY, he is one of this century`s` greatest actors and human beings.
This soundtrack is perfect!!!!
It's true- this is Randy Edelman at his best. This along with his Gettysburg soundtrack rank at probably his two best musical compositions ever.
I think Leaving George- track 7- is the best here. So moving
Very emotional nostalgic spine tingling score epic from 6:50 onwards
The way she looks at stallone when he's about to let her go in the water + that music...
Riyad Gharir Omg, same here! That's where my favorite part of the song comes along too. I still remember the scenes associated with this part of song: the part right after Sylvester descends thru the underground fans to get into the tunnel (when he's setting up the bomb to open up the street pit) and that scene where he's setting up the bomb in the ceiling of the tunnel to stop the water from gushing in xD
+Riyad Gharir my part was when he was trying to put the bomb up there to slow the water down
drifting apart.... . . . .
for me the best movie of Stallone with rocky I...…...i love this film of rob cohen
4:56 The saddest part, when some survivors didn't make it. But also the hope of how the rest of survivors were rescued
fantastic 1996 movie, i love the movie soundtrack
brilliant orchestral part, what else can I say. tears came to my eyes
6:50 the music when I think about my childhood days...
Vay be
Me too
same bro! i get goosbumps everytime
What a nostalgic moment.
Its sad that stallone his son is dead, rest in peace my friend, you did great on The big screen.
Grzzz
pure gold! right here! !!!!!!!!!!! track 1 and 2 yes!!!!
My favorite track has always been the first track. This one has stuck with me more than everything else in the soundtrack..
Daylight was one of Stallone's best films yet. And the music was amazing.
The music at 4:56 is so damn good!!!!
I can't help it but that part absolutely fits in a situation where you want to achieve something as hard as you can but you fail despite all the self esteem and effort you put into it.
Randy's work from 92-96 were iconic. Don't know why he's fallen into obscurity now.
Remember, Randy Edelman is the one that did the famous Batman soundtrack back in 89 starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson... And Prince did the other part of the soundtrack... Randy was a great composer and conductor... He probably just stopped doing music scores after 96... Life changes... Who knows🤷♂️
(sniff) the second track always makes me cry every time i hear it.... and i have seen this movie hundreds of times, it's one of my favourites
5:33 and onwards gets me everytime
I remember the movie Speed was good, but I haven't seen that one in years. Daylight is one I had to see again when I remembered it. After all that time, I had forgotten, but I might've seen it in the theater. Left quite an impression. Full of surprises. Takes you back to the 90s, where it definitely had its place.
It's still great.
4:56 CHEERS!
starwarsstudio100 .
Poooo......
Twin towers 😥
That’s the part I was trying to get to damn thnx lol
I cried so much when the grandma and the black guy died ... The end is so emotional too !
People love Rocky, First Blood....for me, This is Sly. One of his best movies. Emotionally Great. One of the most underrated movies as well.
I was born in 92. I watched this movie all the time on vhs growing up.
90s had some great action flicks
Muito bom as trilhas sonoras do filme.
Tambem da reporter record investigaçao
First and last soundtrack on this movie is perfect
Breaker, breaker ! We got a smoker ! We got a smoker!
4:56 detective-investigation-files-3. Tvb ep 5 where the Jessie imposter was shot to death by law enforcement
6:50 awesome
I love this movie and soundtrack very underrated
Best movie of my childhood
I love the song at 6:50 every-time.
a love to
I love 4:56 more!
Great soundtrack!
The score at 6:50 greatest ost I’ve heard in a long time.
This is such a great movie. And such great music it's so emtionally touching.
It's allways been Latura's theme that was and is my favourite.
Enciclopédia do Rádio ainda é
Mr Edelman , legend , Genius !!
I found ya heart,,,,,, and I'm gonna BLOW IT OUTTA YA BODAAAAAAAY!!!!! That's when I get geeked and try to hold my breath

The saddest part is wen Stallone hu helpd all gets left behind
Great moove! Excelent sound track
I always have to remind myself everything happens for a reason & everything's going to be okay
I heard the first song through the trailer for Atlantis. That piano riff is so fresh.
this movie is the best I have ever seen, although old is spectacular!
totally agree!! this movie is really great!!
6:49
Awesome movie, and truly underrated
Amazing movie and Soundtrack!
I really like this movie, such a claustrophobic setting.
And the music is superb.
1:31
una musica carica di tensione ma bellissima. Mi piace veramente tanto!
The movie was not that bad, it had good music and good story line as well, i also ditto this opinion that it is an under rated movie
I know it's just a movie,I have seen Daylight a million times, but for some reason,"Latura's Theme" always made me cry.
At 5:58 it sounds kinda like Disneys Aladdin score
At 4:20 that part was very emotional when Eleanor passed away in husband arms and they had to leave her.
Definitely! Also when they have to leave Kit and Amy and the end when Grace realizes George is dead T_T and then Kit gives her her bracelet back.
4:56
those bass guitar parts in track one make it really worth while
6:50 6:56
This soundtrack makes the movie a little bit more greater. Superb job.
What an emotional movie...very good one too. The score was perfect too .

What is this movie .... I want to ask how many times! It is! It is! Did you make it want to listen again and again? Is it? Or am I the only one to feel?
7:35 my favourite part of the music
