- Every year, Full Sail inducts six outstanding graduates into the the Hall of Fame, where they serve as industry ambassadors for the next generation of creatives. We sat down with a group of Hall of Fame inductees to talk about success - what defines it, and most importantly, how to achieve it in the competitive world of arts and entertainment.
Charity Lomax (Recording Arts, 1994) - As a tour manager/production coordinator, Charity has traveled the world with several well-known artists, including Aerosmith, Queen Latifah, and the Pussycat Dolls. Her job entails handling the logistics for a tour, taking care of everything from booking travel to overseeing the crew. From 2013 to 2015, Charity was the production coordinator for the legendary rock band the Eagles on their History of the Eagles World Tour.
Elbert Perez (Game Design and Development, 2005) - Elbert has used his passion for both the technical and creative sides of video gaming as a driving force in his career. Currently the co-founder and chief technical officer of Doghead Simulations, Elbert had previously served as Senior VR Developer with HTC Creative Labs - contributing to the cutting-edge of virtual reality through his work on the HTC Vive.
Leslie Brathwaite (Recording Arts, 1992) - After graduating from Full Sail, Leslie made his way up to Atlanta, where he started assisting producer Dallas Austin, earning credits on albums like Boyz II Men's II and Outkast's Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. From there, opportunities poured in, and Leslie established himself as a go-to mix engineer and producer, working with artists including Jay Z, Madonna, T.I., and more.
Ric Viers (Film, 1996) - Ric is known as the "rock and roll professor of sound" - and it's a much-deserved title for the 1996 Film grad. In his nearly two-decade career, Ric is credited with location sound work that's been used in hundreds of productions. His company, Blastwave FX, is the world's largest producer of sound effects libraries for film, TV, and video games.
Stephen Beres (Film, 2004) - Stephen currently serves as vice president of HBO’s Media, Technology & Production Operations group. Stephen leads a West Coast-based team of technologists who develop digital production and interactive experiences for acclaimed television shows such as Silicon Valley, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and cultural phenomenon Game of Thrones.
Steve Switaj (Film, 1992) - After graduating from Full Sail, Steve moved to Hollywood, where he appealed to studios by showing off his technical expertise. He started working as a motion control camera operator, and it has since garnered him dozens of credits, including Coraline, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Sin City.

Hey guys! We hope you enjoyed this video - what do you think defines success?
They were speaking like one person. It was nice listening all of them talking in synchronised manner. Unfortunatelly they did not give diverse content I was expecting, since it was a group discussion. Anyway interesting to listen.
This was an amazing discussion! Felt sad when I heard the ending music lol I wanted to hear more. Love everyone's contribution to the path to success.. so many insights to take away.
Great conversation and I like the coverage. 3 cam setup I'm guessing? (2 cameras on singles, and 1 wide on a dolly?) But how did ya'll light it? Curious about the fill light used in the middle along with anything else you used. Cheers!

Success would look like having women/non binary folks at this table! Where are they?!
Success is measured by accomplishments and merit- not what you identify as.
Prejudice is when you measure/ judge someone by something superficial…
Btw there’s two women……
Wow.....were you discussing a YEAR AGO on how to put people in bubbles? Like in TORONTO 😡 !! And tell me covid wasn’t planned 😡
