I glad you like that part of my nendoroid reviews, I do love talking about anime :D And these nendos were distributed by goodsmile, but manufactured by TomyTec. I didn't mention it, but one of the differences is that the peg hole in their back is square while a goodsmile nendo is usually roundish. Fun Fact lol.
No idea who these girls are but they are so cute! Good smile is still my favorite but I understand they can't get rights to everything. Great video! ^_^
The plot that you explained reminds me to Rozen Maiden for some reason, just suppose, I don't know about WIXOSS only by your explanation so... Whatever, don't like a lot the Tomytec designs, It's noticed a bit differences in relation to the nendos made by GSC. By the way, nice review as always, Dave! Every week I'll wait for it, even if you are trapped in a card in real life, it's seems haha ;D!
Because she's produced by Tomytec, does that make her incompatible with other nendoroids? :( Her skirt doesn't fit in the same way (has a notch) and none of her faceplates seem to work. I had kept Ruuko boxed for a long time because I didn't have Tama yet and I couldn't bear for her to be alone. Finally opened her, and now I'm really disappointed and not even sure I want Tama anymore.
I wouldn't say they're incompatible. The only thing that wouldn't fit is a regular nendoroid stand, other than that all the accessories and face plates should still work. And of the two I think Tama is the better nendoroid because she comes with cuter expressions and the card accessory is really cute. Ruuko is a bit disappointing and I only got her to go with Tama.
The faceplates definitely do not fit perfectly. They're too tight and don't align exactly (there ends up being a gap between the back and front). Anyway i got Tama anyway..... it's only a matter of time before I cave and get that sweet Tamayorihime. XD
