Got me a black 2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid Energi (PHEV) yesterday, going to sell the Crown Vic this week or next. Bittersweet. Honestly, I'll miss the Vic but less than one third on the fuel bill, the amount of sound deadening and ride quality being quite decent on the Fusion, I don't have any regrets.
I enjoyed your videos in the past but must say this was the worst one you have ever produced. To compare a 4 year old car with 40k on it for 15 grand to a 15 year old car with a hundred k on it that you paid 7 grand is comparing apples to diamonds. Let's see how much you love this thing in a few years when they tell you it's 7 grand for new battery!
The batteries in a hybrid aren't nearly as expensive compared to a PHEV or a full electric. It won't be no 7 grand. And in saying that, Ford uses Toyota tech and will likely be good for 10 to 15 years anyways, and honestly the fuel savings will more than pay for itself over the time and less oil changes etc. I love Panthers too but that's reality.
How are you doing with the ride/suspension difference with the Fusion vs the Town Car? I test drove a Fusion and there was a nauseating amount of side to side movement driving over bumps. Was the Town Car a much softer/smoother ride or not by much? It's been a long time since I've driven a Panther
@@VitaliyKofman how did the MKZ feel in comparison if you test drove one too? I'm debating the Lincoln hybrid vs Fusion energi. The closer I can get to that floating on a cloud feeling, the better
Love from Azerbaijan country 🇦🇿. I drive same 2020 fusion hybrid SE model already 80000km no issues, no problem.my previous car was toyota camry 2005 2.4 engine. Hope fusion also will be reliable same as toyota. Waiting for best expectation from my fusion 😊 till face problem.
don't you think that just buying another town car wouldve been a better option? You might get more MPG in the fusion, but you paid like 10k more for it, it's seemingly less luxurious than the town car, and you can buy a lot of gas with the money you saved. I don't hate the fusion; I actually really like it, but it seems to me like you got a bad deal
Well I got a few things to say since you make your videos public! 😂😂😂 First you sold your Lincoln for a reason. Asking to keep in touch or meeting with someone you don't know is asking for trouble. Second you purchased the lincoln for 7k you could have purchased a better conditioned Lincoln you inherited problems. The car had many problems that's your fault not lincons fault. How can you compare a 2020 new car with one that was not taken care off? And I'll tell you this if that lincoln is taken care of it WILL OUTLAST your new car!.
Thanks for the comment! I met plenty of people who I didn't know before and everything went very well so not too concerned (yet:)) I was just commenting on what happened - never claiming it was a good ide :D Thanks for watching the video!
That’s why I didn’t use the word “hate” in my Town Car video but used dislike instead. I am glad your Mondeo works out for you 😉

It wasn't a direct comparison - just my experience with both cars. When the battery needs to be replaced = time for a new car 😋
@@VitaliyKofman after you paid 15k that's a tough pill to swallow I just paid 3500 for another TOwn Car with 95k on it
@@edwardleyland1979 Congrats on the new Town Car purchase!

I got over the floatiness when I realized MPGs are 3 times better and now I drop ~$35 every 2.5 weeks instead of every week 😀

I considered it but wanted something newer and not another project. This one came about so I pulled the trigger
It's a nice car.
