Only complaint is that not every weapon had one. Having weapon specific attachments like this made each weapon feel so much more unique.
Those operator mods weren’t that bad tbh

I think operator mods should come back, but in a way that allows you to use them on other guns as well.
For instance you could unlock the belt feed mod for something like the... M60.
Or Akimbo SMG'S for the MP5 or the Mac 10.
Or the wild fire attachment on any slow firing gun... Like the C58 in cold war...
I think the spitfire was made to be the kid of the Vesper and Scorpion Evo... It looks like a combination of the two guns.

BO4 did a good job of making weapons feel more unique with different sets of attachments, but operator mods on top of that added so much more to the weapons that did have them. Even they were varying degrees of useful, still so good to play around with.
Even when weapons weren't Meta, their operator mods would give us a reason to use them. Some would absolutely make a weapon, and others just make them simple pure fun
The Penta** Burst for the Swordfish made the gun way better, because it couldn’t one burst without it. It took 5 shots to kill, 4 with headshots mixed in, and was supposed to function like the M8a7, but it didn’t without it.

Codm implemented a similar thing but it's called signature attachments like the Pharo has a stun gun under barrel, the ak47 has the Gru Grip barrel it's kinda cool

By far one of the most hit or miss systems in cod. Where in some weapons their mods hindered their performances (quad shot, echo fire, belt feed), other were completely busted and broke the game (cross bar, skull splitter, pre patch impact blast, & strobe light).
This game is a top 3 cod imo. Higher ttk = higher skill gap. Specialists got pretty annoying at times yes lol but there's so much to love about it. Maps were good
Bo4 really showed who’s a bot and who’s not. Probably the biggest skill gap a cod game has ever seen

All maps was fresh and not 100% copied like people always said but now it's actually true
bayonet and suppressor together on the Strife make no sense physically speaking. The suppressor blocks the bayonet. I run it like that just to get more powerup drops.
Bruh, you should've shown off the Flashlight Shotgun that blinds your foe. That mod was hilariously dumb.
They added something similar to operator mods in CoD Mobile a year ago, they called "Signature Attachment". Basically this is a unique attachment to a gun with pretty good positive effects. In the beginning these attachments stated out strong, but after time devs stated to add useless stuff like. A Shield mounted onto the weapon which can be broken with only one shot(CR-56 AMAX) or a flashlight doesn't do anything(RUS-79).
First thing that comes to mind is the Oppressor Titan 😢
They nerfed the fuck outta it. But pre nerf that shit broke lobbies 😭
Question what is your most mained class in first person games mines power because super powers and melee and no guns if your power im glad every game i play i never have too use a gun

I use the wildfire and do pretty well. I also use to go off with the vesper in BO3. I just use to the fire rate and I know which fights to avoid.
