I live in Istanbul and I can confirm this is how we trade. It's all dice. No money. Only dice.
sounds kinda ... dicey
Great stuff love from Turkey 🇹🇷
I like this game a lot. It's a great balance of strategy and luck, and plays super fast. Me and my girlfriend play this when we have some spare time but not enough for a longer game.
Hmm, played it as 2 player as well and we found it lacking.
I don't know and maybe we played it 'wrong' but going for coins to buy rubies seemed to be a dominant strategy along with picking up a ruby here and there.
Additional actions felt hardly worth it as you lacked dice to use actions on and additional dice are too random to have a worthwhile impact as you can only perform two actions.
Combining them would appear good, but is quite some investment that could have been used towards buying rubies and takes some turns to pay off at which point you are too far behind.
So when you invested into your generators and feel like it's starting to pick up steam, the other player was at 4 rubies and you couldn't generate enough resources to block all leftover options for rubies.
That felt like a let down, but again, maybe we played it wrong.
Lets see some playthroughs of some boardgames. I cant be alone in wanting to see this
I’m willing to bet that if he does he’ll make a different channel for multiple hour-long videos. They would fuck up this channel’s algorithm if he uploaded them here.
You are not alone, I’d also like to see this.
I think a new channel for this would be fun!
Last time I was this early, the game was called Constantinople
Hey! That’s nobody’s business but the Turks’
Thank you for the good laugh
Same

Now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works?

Was glad he had played the original to compare and see what was adapted.
As someone who is Turkish, I've never seen this game! Nice review tho.
I’m Turkish too that’s why I clicked so fast to the video 🇹🇷

*Sadness in the fall of Constantinople*
And the spinoff New York, which was once New Amsterdam
can you say why they changed it?
Love your content so much that sometimes I leave your videos rolling on my phone while I'm watching other stuff on tv 👊
It's mandatory that you play the song They Might Be Giants - "Istanbul" on loop while playing this game.
I kinda want the board game to get a remake just so someone can be explaining how the rules used to be.
"Why they changed it, I can't say."
@@TaliesinMyrddin "maybe people just like it better that way..."
Istanbul was Constantinople, now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople!
