The passenger mechanic is pretty intuitive if you think of yourself being the passenger. Like, it's all about hassle. you'd rather take a longer single trip on a metro than walk a shorter but still lengthy distance, and if you had a choice between two destinations but one would require a transfer between two lines, you'd take the straight trip over the transfer trip. Really neat and thought out on part of the designers!
I haven't watched one of these in awhile and just now seeing the number on this video. He could build a fort out of board games

Seems like if "Ticket To Ride" was more complicated and with a slightly differing theme
Due to the rules of the passengers, and the randomization of locations, this seems like the type of board game that might work better in a digital version
I’m actually really interested in where you keep all your board games lol
the passenger movement seems convoluted but it adds a nice second mechanic to what would otherwise be a simple "place pieces and capture spaces" game. you can figure out ways to preempt the movement of a passenger and how best to distribute your line(s) to capture the points as it moves

I’m still wondering how you found this many board games.
The trick is having so many subscriber that the creator sends them to you.
He literally says where he gets each game at the beginning of every episode, and they're most frequently sent by the publisher or the designer.
I guess as someone who busses the passenger mechanic makes more sense. I rather take one line than transfer and I'd rather transfer than walk.

I have played this game a few times, unfortunately the rules do not work mid to late game, when a player has equal chance to move a passenger equal length (surprisingly this happens a lot) they just snowball the game.
It’s an interesting game however unfortunately the game is ultimately solved based on 1) your starting point and 2) what you draw. There is no skill involved at all it’s pure luck.
