Thanks for watching everyone! Hope you enjoy this one. We will be on the road for a couple of weeks soon so there will be some fun content as well as some broken down truck drama...

Lifes an adventure and your living it. Sometimes you got to roll with it. The moulding stuff marcel used looks really cool 😎

Marcel is looking so good, the weight he’s lost is certainly evident, well done Marcel👍

Good luck and do what's right for the family. Just watched your short video with problems with the truck just before music in the mountains. Take care.

Thanks, it’s an electrical issue. We got Beast into Music in the Mountains but are going to have to go to Motueka in a few days to get the part replaced…

You know the commandment, "Thou shalt not covet"? I'm doing so bad at that! Beast is awesome!

Hahaha, Beast wasn’t so awesome today. We broke down. Just electrical but still a four hour delay to somewhere we were meant to be!

We spent many years traveling, but we never sold our house! Renting helped support our life on the road. It's important to keep a safe base, so selling the house isn't an option. Life on the road can be quite expensive, contrary to what many believe. We discovered that taking our time was the best approach, only moving a maximum of 1.5 hours at a time. Additionally, consider getting a BEP Marine Digital Voltage Sensitive Relay; it will ensure that once your solar system charges your house batteries, it will also top off the truck batteries, preventing any flat battery issues.

Thanks for the advice re. batteries, I will tell Marcel to look into it. We had to sell the house otherwise we couldn’t have done it. Couldn’t have borrowed against our equity to buy something big enough for a us and the kids. Marcel was working 5-6 days a week just to pay the mortgage so we decided just to go for it. Hoping to have a bit of land one day 🙂

Met your man at his work a couple of weeks ago, if I worked there, I am sure I wouldn't loose weight LOL. I knew his face but didn't know where from, but after chatting, got it sussed. Happy Travels.

Are you plugged into mains where you are? Or got enough solar to run a 24V charger? You can get a cheap 24V charger off TradeMe and permanently wire it to your start batteries, never get flat batteries again. We have out bus set up like this as it sometimes sits for a while without getting used.

No, we aren’t plugged in to mains. Just running off our solar. We just hadn’t started the truck for about 4 weeks. We normally give Beast a good run every two or three weeks but hadn’t this time…
