    Pro tip: Flip the dividers, so when you use the flaps on them they flip upwards instead of downwards. Then they they will be on an angle inward, so your stuff won't fall out so easily... ;)

    I once bought some cargo shorts that had magnets to keep the leg pockets closed & I thought "what an amazing idea why hasn't anyone thought of this before". As soon as I wore them I quickly realized anytime I was near a dishwasher or fridge my shorts flew away from my legs and loudly attached themselves to any metal surfaces. I also get strange looks in public anytime I get too close to my or others car doors & finding them in the dryer is challenging. I think you motivated me to make a video review of my magnet shorts. Cheers!

    Finally...! An honest review with legit concerns a photographer would have! This is the only review that says what I was worried about when looking at the design/dividers. Things that are loose can get into other compartments and scratch various, expensive, items. And that top compartment... how frustrating because this looks like an AMAZING bag. I love the outer design. Hopefully there’s a version 2 coming soon that improves on these concerns. You’ve got a new sub, cheers!

    Great review. I hated the first two colorways but when the all black came out I've been wanting one ever since. I picked up the 5L sling (all black as well) for small stuff but I've been needing a nice backpack and now that this is in all black, I'm gonna scoop one up.

    In the video, looked like your dividers were inverted... flip it to more of a shelf from u underneath and things will fall out less easily. It was strange for me to have one of the dividers on the bottom of the bag as well but it really helps and gives you more Room at the top. Of course everything is personal preference but that has worked best for me. Thanks for the video!

    Nice review. You mentioned some of the key downsides like the dividers and items falling down the sides.. that really pissed me off about the 30L Charcoal. Did you ever mod different dividers/velcro in? I have an Atlas Athlete pack which I love and also love Shimoda bags. For an urban bag / daily carry alternative I'm looking at the Think Tank Urban access 15 which has much better dividers than the Peak AND the WHOLE bag opens up from the back. Also a nice front pouch area for gimbal or clothing. 2x Clasps that are nicer that the Peak mag-latch for safety/anti-theft. Better padding and waist belt. BUT the Peak in black just looks SO GOOD...

    Funny when I first saw this peak design bag I thought it looked cool but I hated the two grey colors it came in. Now I really love this color but I don't want a bag that gives me the option to carry too much when I travel lol. But it looks really good especially in black

    Cool intro, Zed. How is the strap and back comfort level? I tried the 30L in the office and it was too big and the strap padding was thin. I also found the back padding was too thin for my liking. Not enough air to go through?

      David Viegas I love it for the most part. It’s holding up strong. The only thing I don’t like is if you don’t pack it carefully you have to watch stuff doesn’t roll out when you unzip a side. It needs to be facing up before you do .

    Nice bag although expensive, but that whole falling down to the bottom and lenses that can fall out when you open the side disqualify that bag for Photography for me, especially for that price. There are lotsa special Photography bags for that money that are designed better and also build to last. And the days to look COOL with a bag are behind me ;-)

    I don't like this backpack. It is good for mirorles camera. The N800 with 24-70 (or 70-200) mounted is not possible to fit inside, without frustration. I don't like mount and unmount glass on every time when put inside or outside backpack. It is especially difficult if you have filters on sides of backpack. Try to fit N800(with quick release plate)+24-70 (mounted) and 70-200+T150-600 + SB800+ Cir filters x2+3 batteries+manfrotto beefree. If you put inside your laptop it is possible to damage cover by the quick release plate. I have 30 liters version.

    Neways, gotta love the anchor thingies too! And they always cheer up the look of a camera with those red accents, don't know what it is about that. Not sure about their seatbelt-style straps though, that's a bit... weird. I don't prefer it myself.

    Why is the Black Everyday Backpack only limited to 20L and not 30L???? I'm just dumbfounded by this, that you can't get the most basic color for any bag in probably the most useable size. The 20 is simply too small for my needs, and I refuse to buy it. But I also refuse to buy anything that is not black and minimal (ash and charcoal are not good looking I'm sorry). Please make Black an option in 30L size Peak, this is just ridiculous.

    Do people really pack multiple bodies? Is this just to show space or do you really need it? I feel like the money pros are willing to pay for lenses would mean they'd also buy a killer camera that is a one stop shop. Like if I had the dinero I'd buy a gh5 and wouldn't need anything else.

    • @LeeZavitz
      @LeeZavitz  6 років тому +1

      SKDK I always pack multiple bodies if I’m doing a job. But I have bigger bags for that. I was just showing what you could fit in this bag if you wanted to. I honestly didn’t buy this bag for work though. Mostly just to pack a couple lenses and my laptop.

    • @LeeZavitz
      @LeeZavitz  6 років тому +1

      Trent Mitchell I tried different configurations and this way fit things the best for me. If I flip the top divider it makes an even bigger gap for things to fall through. This way made a better top shelf. But yeah if you flip the divider the other way you can make small cubbies that would be much better for small lenses

    • @LeeZavitz
      @LeeZavitz  6 років тому

      I flipped the middle one the other way around. It acts more like a cup shape which is better for smaller lenses. Yeah that's the advantage of the Mavic. Takes up almost as much room as a DSLR. If I didn't already have a Phantom3Pro I would buy a mavic :P
