Another great video Sid as always, and lovely to see Cooper in the background with his dad. 👌
Thanks Pip
Yet again a great video thanks sid stay safe mate
Nice tree Sid.
Thank you
Hi Sid if you don’t like it take it off as you have, Hawthorn are slowly becoming one of my favourite tree species, trees looking very full and healthy in April, watch the thorns they can really hurt, it looked like a hot sunny day working on the tree in May, the sun on the foliage turns it almost hot yellow I love it my friend. All the best to you and Cooper
It was a beautiful day, Joe. Cooper was enjoying the sunshine, I think. You're right about those thorns too. Brutal!. Take care Joe
I really need to remember to grab a few Hawthorn cuttings the next time I go for a walk past the stupendously overgrown hedging that's blocking most of the path again nearby, if the council can't be bothered to keep it all trimmed, might as well take advantage of the situation.
Sounds like a plan, Mikey!
Totally agree with cutting that branch that was the first thing I thought when seeing it... I was I love everything except that branch lol
It's been bothering me all winter. I just didn't realise it.
Oh this tree looks great this year. All the bends are so natural looking unlike the worm like patterns I'm prone to produce. Seeing flowers for the first time is always treat. How long from seed do you figure? I sure hope you can post an update of the winter silhouette. Just thinking of this windswept tree without leaves gives me shivers lol - much like our blustery coasts in November!
Really not sure how old this tree is. Probably 10-15 . Somewhere around there anyway. I'll be sure to post an update over winter.
I love a good timey-whimy video! Cheers Syd!
Thanks mate
