No, he did well in camp. Then he said he had the best hands in the NFL and sucked at catching. He sucks and wasn’t helped by the lack of development from coaching.
@@michaelmccourt4992 Rather our receivers just show us they have the best hands than say they do. Embarrassing and inexcusable handling of him all around, especially Mayo putting him in this situation by calling him out in the media and making him feel he needs to defend himself. Dysfunctional. Unless you're Megatron or Jerry Rice or someone of that capacity, shut your mouth and do your job. Just out of college and on about this nonsense. No room for that ego in Foxboro. No room for Mayo's coaching malpractice nonsense either. Good riddance to Mayo and if Polk doesn't take to better coaching and keeps being mouthy, good riddance to him, too.
I think it’s really unfortunate that people give Brady and bill all the credit for the success of the organization but none goes to the krafts. We have excellent owners who really don’t get in the way of a good program. We just need a good coach. I believe ownership will do the right thing and let them build there program. Kraft said he made a mistake hiring mayo too early in his career. They’ll find the right guy. We got I think 2 qb’s who r gonna develop. That’s more than half the battle right there. They need to do this right and the right thing now is to start building the o line and d line out next. Will Campbell or the Johnson kid from Michigan who will make an excellent tandem with Gonzalez. My first choice would be mason graham who would transform the whole defense but really if they got any 1 of those 3 we’ll be in good shape.
I think the Krafts were given credit for not meddling until Brady left and there was uncertainty about who was "responsible" for that. No one expected a QB to be that good for that long so Tom's rare career arc and BB's style of GM kind of imploded. Brady walked on to a QB ready SB team and BB ended up with Mac Jones. I think if BB gets to trade Mac away for a vet in '23 then maybe the end isn't so awful and ugly and painful, but either way, it all went on too long. As parties often do. I'm sad we didn't get the send off we deserved as fans - of Brady or BB. That, I think, is on the Krafts. Unless they'd meddled and sent them off too soon? I suppose then we could all be sad about that. Hindsight and all... I'll take what we had. I'm old enough to know history is generous in its telling. And, we had it better than good. We had it all. Six times.
So, what coach in his right mind wanted to work under Mayo? How many phone calls ended with "no thanks". Don't blame Wolf for getting third rate coaches who failed to coach well.
Back to back 4 win seasons back to back coach firings. Yet Wolf who is the the common denominator still has a job and is deflecting blame and planting stories about a guy who has already been fired.
Hopefully Wolf is out the door with the new coach. Can't imagine him doing coaches dirty started with Mayo. I'll bet just like Mayo doing BB dirty last year, Wolf was ready with a story for Tom Curran whenever he came calling.
Crazy that Mayo survived the Chargers game. WILD that Wolf is still on staff after that season.
Front office is a disaster
this is false we activly watched Polk regress.. he started off the season making playes and only went down
Those two non-catches in San Francisco and against Miami killed his confidence.

@@2PhaktzDefinitely! I hope to see him working in the off season with Drake! That’ll tell us a lot!

"Sell! The! Team!" is the chant for 2025. Operation "Fire Mayo!" was a success so now it's time we move onto the Krafts.
Whats a claer split?
Bill Belichick with a cut his ass never mind not starting them
Wolfe should absolutely be gone. Vrabel interviewed at Krafts house in Boston and Ben Johnson is today if I'm correct.
