Another TD cover! I had started work on this one quite a while ago, and decided to push to finish it this week. It's longer and a fair bit slower than the original. Most of the sounds are actually from the DAW, with a couple of voices from the modular (Twin Waves + E370).

I can see Tom Cruise as Joel Goodson in my minds eye walking up to that shower right now. Goodson “do you want me to leave?” , the girl in the shower “No, I want you to wash my back” - well, the dream is always the same!!
Ever since I was a small child I've been enthralled by electronic music. I didn't really know how to describe it until much later, but I knew what I was after. I saw it wayyy too young, but the Risky Business soundtrack was magic to me. Even though I didn't know a single soul that shared my passion until I was in my 20s, I knew there was something special about this music. I am absolutely delighted that we have amazing and talented people like you making such beautiful music. I feel so lucky to be alive during this resurgence of electronic music and golden age of creativity.
My God, so eloquently put. I relate, I agree, I had the same thinking.
My first introductions to Electronic music were Synergy and Kraft Work as well as a few tunes from Emerson Lake and Palmer. Later I was listening to Vangelis and a few others like him. Now the list is longer then my arm. My CD collection alone is over 400 CD's just in Electronic music. Looks like we have a lot in common.
I saw the film Risky Business and I was capitvated by the musical soundtrack. I went out and bought it and TD took me into a new musical appreciation. I cound not get enough of TD music. It's alway a new listening experience.

I was 12 when Risky Business came on HBO, watched it a few times that summer. The 'watering the lawn' scene immediately stuck with me as being succinctly hyper-real/surreal.
So then....My older brother starts college that fall, and within the first month he's brought home a tape with Tangram on one side and Force Majeure on the other. A couple "a-ha!'s later and I either stole the tape or copied it immediately, possibly both :)
Same here I saw the Tom Cruise movie I was mabey 11 or 12 and fell in Love 🥰 with electronic music 🎶
I have no idea how you are able to produce such beautiful music from a machine with wires all over the place, but I appreciate your artistry. Not as good as Love on a Real Train, but that is perfection.
I think he is someone famous in the music industry and does this as a sideline.....and I thank god for it 👍🏻

Only do what you love, not because some piece of s#*t pattern comes along and makes you feel the need the feel again! These secret jerks, are secret junk! We have what we need and when you realise recycling has a danger to it then you know thiers problems that we're not addressed from all out begginings! Music and artistry was made to allow people to feel thier best and find thier parts need for them and only them so others could find thiers also! We all search for things and somtimes the search has to rest so we can thrive within peace and have no question as to whats going on and will our lives be at risk
It has a continuous, flowing quality that I like. It gives one more energy that it takes to listen to it.
As a huge fan of 70s and 80s TDream I can appreciate that you don't go all "dream mixing" with your covers.

Mine too, it was way before it's time. For some reason it still takes me their no matter how many times I listen to the Soundtrack.
Did you know that the version of this song is different on the original vinyl release in 1983? When it was released on CD they added stuff to it to spice it up. I can't say they ruined it but per my opinion the original was much better, as in uncluttered. Tan Dream had it right the first time.

The Mad Musical Scientist in his lab! What a setup he has. I cannot imagine how many years he has been building and changing his setup to his needs and wants. And I’m a way I do believe that they are not just musicians but that they are definitely part or a lot scientist as well. I love it and ya gotta love it to!

WOW! im just blown away at how well you captured the vibe of the original, yet making it your own! very unique song and im glad you took the time to recreate this. Really teleports you into a peaceful place. tangerine dream is one of those groups that is for a niche market but the few that are here to listen, really appreciate it. If you love this style, give "music for 18 musicians" a listen as tangerine dream was heavily influenced by that sound. Thank you for this and love what you are doing! Keep it up :)
