Best way to paint Khorne models:
Step one: assemble model
Step two: unleash your anger on a person and slay them in brutal single combat
Step three: dip model into their blood
Step four: fix up any mistakes you left with a detail brush (and a mop)
Step 4: if you are good enough at craving (don't know if that's the right term) you can use the bones of your victim to make the bone details in the mini
@@blista3 it’s spelt carving but yeah that’s the right word. And you’re right kitbashing is a great way to give a model more character
@@lord_duckian9521 just an r on the wrong place but still you can kit bash even weapons to that mini so you can have different weapons or more things

2 catch a hertic player
3 tie em to a wall
4 beat him with a sign saying repent

The true way to paint Khorne berzerkers is to prime them white and then dip them in “blood for the blood god” technical paint
Primed mine white, stabbed myself eight times in the hand and let the blood do its work.
Also got Khornes approval.
Bro finna turn up to the tournament and get a blood transfusion each game

Too careful and tidy to be a khorne-approved! Base it black, drybrush KHORNE RED, do it AGGRESSIVELY, then mephiston red, a bit less aggressive now, wild rider red, brass trim, some metal on the blades and chains, some nuln oil, and then apply some BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD as you see fit (I recommend around 1/3 of a paint bottle per model)
For the final stage I recommend the model dip method.

Personally would’ve gone for orange instead of black on the highlights. The black makes it look like he’s trying to sneak around and khorne doesn’t like that.

My buddy used to paint like this. One berserker, 120 layers. Has only completed one model to date
Here's me paints all my models exactly the same way.
Spray black
Paint entire model the primary colour (eg. red for beserkers, blue for tsons and green for death guard)
Fill in small Details like trims, bones, eyes, weapons etc
Coat entire model in agrax or nuin
DONE

I know it's not lore friendly bit khorne models would look so cool coloured as if they were made of wrought iron. Especially that big skull guy on tracks

How do you paint red over black so well? Even the first coat looked so smooth. I needed to do about 5 earlier and all the details got gummed up with paint
