FFXI Beginner's Guide: EP 1 "Retail vs Private Servers"

I am not a big fan of fighting about this because I just think there are many ways to play the game that I love and whatever way works for you is the one I want you to go with. No server's existence hurts any other because the game experience is so different between servers.
I personally play on HorizonXI but I am not currently affiliated with the staff or server in any way other than being a player. Not everyone will have the time to commit to a server like Horizon but that's why it's so great that so many other servers exist :)
